Yep. Said it in the first half game thread. Down hill drives and finishing at the rim is his bread and butter…he stuck to that today and didn’t just settle for Js. He also didn’t force it if it wasn’t there and looked for his teammates when he got cut off. He likely should have had another 4-5 points from the freethrow line if we would have got the same shooting contact whistle UF got.
Different players stepped up at different times. It’s so nice having multiple weapons and not relying on a single 3pt threat or one offensively gifted player.
DJ can finish at the rim and make tough shots better than anybody else on our team. I feel like he always comes up with timely steals/loose ball possessions too.
