The equation uses the score, yard line, down and distance, and time left to calculate the worst punt to calculate something called the Surrender Index.
Our punt, with UK 12, UGA 13, ball on the UK 47, with 2:58 gives us a Surrender Index score of 2.26 which, honestly, isn't bad at all.
But when we CALLED the punt, before the penalty that moved it back, we were 5 yards closer and had even more time. What's that look like?
