Talked to friend that worked The Masters about the experience. The tournament starts out with about 750 volunteers. Within a couple of days it’s down to around 500. The reason 14 hour days or not getting an assignment that allows them to watch the tournament. $14 an hour plus ot plus a few other amenities.

Did not think they got paid unless that is a new thing. Getting to play the course is a pretty good payoff IMO.
