PGA Championship

Kentucky doesn't seem to mind when they spend many, many, millions buying horses at Keeneland.
That’s a valid point but, as usual, you fail to understand what people are talking about. I was responding to a post that said we just think they are bad people because they are Muslim and don’t think like we do. Just pointing out some things are bad regardless of religion, etc. I just used the example Phil used.

i'd rather fail on the KF tour and have to become a club pro or something than go play and commit to the Saudi League, but that's just me. The KF Tour is actually more interesting to me than the proposed Saudi League, those guys are playing for milk and bread money.

After watching Live at the PGA last night it made me think Rory may have a very good shot to win. Talked about his struggles on Thur which basically takes him out of it. The PGA did him a huge favor pairing him with Tiger and Jordan. That atmosphere is going to be wild and feel like a weekend pairing. It may be what Rory needs to really put his mind in the right place on Thur.

You can't pick and choose if you are going to lump beheadings and Saudi's into one group. We all know they are not all like that.

The Big Cat has birdied #10 his first hole

First, I have to again register my objection to having the PGA in May. Just doesn't feel right.

And second, the most undervalued story of the week is Jordan Spieth having a shot at the career grand slam if he wins. Seems like that hasn't gotten a lot of play.

Don't ever quote myself but I had a feeling the pairing would help Rory today. So far, is starting very strong.

He is comfortable and driving the ball like Rory is known for. Now he won't be behind the 8 ball heading into what will be a difficult afternoon round tomorrow.

Tiger isn't going to make enough birds to compete, but another made cut made will be good for his recovery. As he gets stronger he will need to play somewhere a couple of weeks before each major if he has any chance of being in contention. It is obvious he needs reps in a tourney atmosphere.

Tiger fixing to hit shot and ESPN goes to commercial. Says a lot about how bad Tigers day has been so far.

I am hoping Periera does well, T5 at Barbasol last summer, think he had just qualified for the PGA tour off the Korn Ferry. He could hit it a ton I remember that

It’s hard to ever think Tiger may be done but after seeing what his right leg looks like now
(in a photo of him practicing a few weeks ago) plus being 46, he has a major hill to climb to ever be competitive again more less win again. A lot more than his back issues. He really is lucky to be alive plus have a right leg now.

Very true but humpty dumpty just now put himself back together again in record time. One has to think going into next year things will be alot better health wise than this beginning. Maybe not but that’s what I’m thinking. As time goes by maybe these next 2 to 3 years are quite a bit better on his body, comparatively speaking.

Zalatoris always seems to hang around in the majors but doesn't have a win yet on the PGA tour.

Tiger has previously announced he will play in The Open July 14-17th (150th anniversary at St. Andrews). Yet he hasn't made a decision about playing the U.S Open coming up soon June 16-19th. I wish the PGA was still played in August.

Should be one hell of a playoff considering the 3 holes.
