The British Open

I think Speith is the new Michelson - out of the blue totally blows a wood or long iron shot & then scrambles like hell around green & makes a 10' putt for par.

What I really like about Morikawa are his Stats. I think the TV said he like 114th in Driving distance but 2nd or 3rd in Fwd hit. Then he 2nd in proximity to the pin and 1st in Stokes gained on the Green. Those stats will win you a bunch of Majors.

Morikawa has terrifying stats that cover his entire amateur and now professional career. Going to be a monster unless he Spieth's it for the next few years.

Spieth will pass Mickelson in majors. I’ll take bets on it … if I’m alive to pay

Love Spieth but he's a self-saboteur. He has remarkable touch when he's free wheeling and guys like Justin Thomas have said that in practice rounds Spieth is like watching an amazing pool trick shot artist as he's constantly doing incredible things... I think that's the way he practices. But when he tries to drill down in crunch time and it's no longer a free wheeling good time, well that's when he keeps making those big mistakes. Catch-22 - he's great but only when he is playing with house money. I don't think he passes Phil as he'd have to win 4 more. I think the only Major he wins again is the Masters, maybe a couple times but that's it.

I look at it as there are two kinds of great players, those that you wait to see do something spectacular in the biggest moments and those that you wait to see do something awful when it matters the most as they're snake bit, Spieth is definitely the latter.
