You have to recruit a QB every class. Particularly with the portal. Levis has turned out great, but there are 300 others who have tried the same and the success rate is very low.

Who is to say that every QB on the current roster stays if another portal QB is brought in and wins the job? You end up in the situation you are in now: QB1 potentially hurt and you have an unheralded, unknown player possibly stepping in.

Hope to see Will play if he's 100%. But I don't want the injury made worse. Besides, I'm looking forward to seeing the Ky boy play. He made a great last second pass for the win in the playoffs his senior year. This may be his Tom Brady moment, Levis may never start another game! The simple fact is that he takes too many unnecessary hits holding onto the ball. He needs to use the 3 second clock rule. Either throw the ball to a receiver, run it, or chuck it out of bounds. He is playing like Carson Wentz by holding the ball too long.

In every one of his sacks against ole miss he had at least 3 seconds. So I agree .

minor injuries while not a big deal can turn into much much worse things. We aren’t wanting to sit Will for the season we want to make sure that he’s good to go before we risk his season. Levis will be in if needed today, he’s not that hurt but if you can rest him here it’s best case.
