"I am not a meteorologist, I did not go to school for any of this stuff."-Flattard who made that video.

Translation:"I don't have a f***ing GD clue what I am talking about, so I am about to make some shit up."

I stopped watching at that moment. Try again, Bushy Ballsack.

I am a meteorologist :) and I may get some forecasts wrong because there are so many variables, but I can most certainly say that the earth is round :) There are so many meteorological phenomenons such as Hurricanes/Cyclones that can only be explained by a round earth.

No, they can be explained on a flat plane as well, I've provided supporting arguments for this all throughout this thread.

Hey Bushy Bill - I wasn't going to comment anymore in this thread, but I have a few questions. First, I'm not going to try to convince anyone of what shape the earth is. It really doesn't matter to me and I don't find it that interesting, but...

  1. Assuming the earth is flat, how thick is it?
  2. Again, assuming the earth is flat, could we drill a hole in it and drain all the water? If we could where would the water go?
  3. Can you jump off the edge of the earth?
Maybe you already answered these things, but I'm not going to look through nearly 20 pages of posts and videos.

1. I don't know.
2. Stupid question.
3. If you get their I would imagine so.

What page is your proof on? Not going to go through 16 pages to find it haha. I would love to see the Coriolis force acting differently in different hemispheres disprooved

I have observational evidence that the world is flat, I don't know the details because no one is funding research into them, but that by no means disproves my evidence.

No one is funding the research because there is absolutely no evidence that the earth is flat. Every single flat earth "claim" can be easily debunked. What is your observational evidence?

Bill, it's been asked before, but are there any other celestial objects that are also flat?

I found this on some site about flat earth.

2) Q. If the earth is flat, wouldn’t you fall off the edge?
A. No, so far no one has been far enough to fall off an edge if there is one. The continents are in the center surrounded by vast oceans. Surrounding the whole flat earth 360 degrees is the Antarctic ice wall, hundreds of feet high. It is endless and goes on for thousands of miles. It holds all the oceans in. There are documented accounts of people traveling along the ice wall for thousands of miles without seeing any inlet.
If you travel in any direction on your continent you will come to the ocean. Then you would have to get in a boat and travel south to the ice wall, then you would have to trek for who know how far along the ice wall to the “edge”. No one knows how far it is because no one is allowed to freely explore thanks to the Antarctic Treaty and military protection of Antarctica. What are they hiding?

So now I have another question. It says that the continents are near the center, surrounded by oceans. The oceans are held in by the Antarctic ice wall. The ice wall is possibly thousands of miles thick. How do we know how thick it is if no one has ever traveled to the edge and measured?

If your evidence is purely visual or "observational," throw it out immediately.

Do both of these squares look the same color? No. Not even close. But ya know what? They are. They're exactly the same shade of grey. Our visual perception can deceive us. Visual "perceived" evidence is not scientific whatsoever.

False. Someone who doesn't know science, math, or properties of light made a false observation, and you are treating it as gospel, yet rejecting to believe/listen to the easy debunking. No one is funding it or having details for you because anyone with a scientific background knows it is a pile of garbage, and most flattards don't have the mental capacity to prove their own points because they can't. You have nothing and everyone here is tired of your bullshit.

You keep wanting us to explain Chicago (although we have, numerous times), here's one thing you need to explain to us:
Why is it that the northern hemisphere sees a completely different sky than the southern hemisphere? A theory that explains why the northern hemisphere sees a sky that revolves around Polaris, and the southern sees a sky that revolves around the southern celestial pole. On a flat Earth, below the equator facing south in Africa, Australia, and South America face wildly different directions, yet at night, they all see the same rotating sky rotating around the same celestial point.

You can see Chicago from 53 miles away across Lake Michigan as proving over and over. Now Herotadus will cry "I'VE DEBUNKED IT", but it isn't an optical illusion and I've got video explaining why. Chicago cannot be seen across Lake Michigan on a curved earth. And there are many other examples of this phenomenon as well.

Not for my questions or articles.

I'm one guy dealing with a dozen of you, restate your questions and if I have time I'll get to them.

We don't know this, it's speculation. What isn't speculation is that the earth is flat.

That would be relevant if those blocks were hidden by the curvature of the earth, but they wouldn't be because the earth is flat.

We have been taught that simple math and backyard experiments prove that flattards are GD mouthbreathing morons. Before the flattards started using youtube, we only thought about it when taught how easily it was to prove wrong in school.

You don't know squat except what NASA told you to believe.

If the earth is flat, why is the equator so warm?

The sun travels between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn in a circle above the disc of the flat earth. There is animation of this everywhere in this thread.

The sun and moon are the only physical heavenly bodies and they both appear to be spheres.

@herodotus6 Watch the damn the video about the atmospheric lensing and the Chicago skyline or STFU. Quit being intellectually lazy and look at my rebuttal.

Chicago has been explained. I have no further interest in talking that point with you, as does anyone else. Explain the sky please. Why do we see two different night skies depending on where we live that revolve around two poles, when a flat Earth tells us we should see not only the same sky, put that Polaris should be the only point the sky revolves around?

Note:If you deflect to Chicago one more time, this will be considered as an admission of defeat, and this conversation is over.

Bill, where are you? I know you're out there, Bill. Why do you answer other questions, but not mine? Please tell me what other celestial objects are flat, or is the Earth the only one? If it is the only one, then why?

Dude is either
1) A persistent troll
2) One of those guy's who THINKS he is more intelligent than everyone, yet constantly seeks approval from everyone else. One of the dumbs who has low self-confidence. "Hey! Look at me guys! I figured something out! Please believe me. I swear I'm right. Please accept my proof."

He responded to my questions, but never really answered them.

I still want to know how thick the earth is; what happens if you drill a hole through it; why we don't know how big the Antarctic ice ring around the earth is.

Seems like if it is flat, you could just have an expedition to the edge of the earth and then rapel down measuring how thick it is.

I thought that I had. The only celestial bodies in the sky are the sun and moon and they both appear to be spherical. You want to know what a star really looks like, here you go.

Get a drill and a tape measure and go find out, you'll be famous. You cannot go to the Antarctic ring as a civilian without govt approval. It is a no go zone protected by the militaries of the world, why is that?
