Good for him. Stuff like this will happen until someone in the officiating world takes responsibility. The kid is in the wrong because actions like this are crazy, but there are some officials out there that do deserve getting slammed, or hit in the jaw.

Jesus Christ you are so broken. No bad call on the planet warrants assault.Good for him. Stuff like this will happen until someone in the officiating world takes responsibility. Do you work at CNN ? Reading that made me feel like I looked at child porn🤮
no official needs to be assaulted. The kid needs to be dismissed from the team. Assault charges should be levied. That is not part of the game.
Lol what the hell dudeGood for him. Stuff like this will happen until someone in the officiating world takes responsibility. The kid is in the wrong because actions like this are crazy, but there are some officials out there that do deserve getting slammed, or hit in the jaw.
Seriously, you need to seek therapy. No I absolutely hate CNN. The refs I played sports around were at least 50% pieces of shit and arrogant dickheads. I don’t condone officials being able to act superior to anyone. I’m tired of them being able to do whatever they want to do and suffer no consequences.
1. From that clip...how do you come to any conclusion the official made a bad call/decision?Good for him. Stuff like this will happen until someone in the officiating world takes responsibility. 2. Regardless of #1...the kid should be banned for 1 year to play football for any high school at minimum. You simply can't assault a referee no matter how bad a call.
3. As far as accountability for officials.....at least a collegiate level and professional level...they should easily answer media quetions after games. I am not sure high schools have the bandwidth for this (and the dudes reffing games literally make 100 bucks or so a game).....so I am not sure you can pay them enough to put up with the additional scrutiny.
i think ul just made a offerHe is now Tennessee’s top priority recruit..
Nah, racism doesn't exist anymore.Definitely a future downtown looter....
I never said what the kid did warranted 0 punishment. I’m just saying shit like this is bound to happen when most of the people out there officiating games are in officiating because their occupation has no consequences and they get to have power. What I said probably crossed the line because it is high school but have you paid attention to the ones in college and professional sports? Hell we’ve had officials fixing games in the NBA in the last 10 years, we got referees in college who blatantly call things against the team that isn’t “supposed to win.” I apologize for saying it about a high school situation cause that official is probably a good guy, but every single crew in the SEC can all get hit in the mouth for all I care, they suck the fun out of the game. One striped shirt can ruin 100,000 people’s enjoyment, a coach lose his job, or a kid to get in trouble and have no consequences, because it’s also not in the game to be an incompetent or corrupt Douchebag.
Remember when Benny Snell touched the official in the Music City Bowl? No one complained about that, they complained that Snell got ejected, and I definitely felt like that ref that night probably deserved a lot worse than Benny making contact with him. He was an arrogant prick Who belonged no where on that field

Caretaker: Most of these old boys don't have nothing. Never had nothing to start with. But you, You had it all. Then you let your teammates down, got yourself caught with your hand in the cookie jar.I agree, although I would not call for assault on officials below the college level. I know there are some high school lines on offshore books, but 99.9% of blatant cheating occurs at collegiate and professional level.
The only thing HS officials do is favor private and Catholic schools, which doesn’t warrant assault. But cheating officials - in the levels above for conference offices (SEC: Birmingham for example) and for sports wagering purposes - deserve broken bones.
They kicked the team out of the playoffs and the kid is being held on $10,000 bond for Class A assault.
And the punk ass bitch award goes to....
