I've been an Oasis Fanboy since I was 18 in 1994. Only got to see them 1x in 2005. I think would prefer to see Liam solo but I'll take Noel. I really like his newest album. Was not a fan of his space music from a few years ago.

Didn’t end up that bad for me. Maybe it’s because I parked on 9th and was far enough away. Lots of foot traffic around the stadiums obviously. The show was moved up an hour because of the weather which was a smart move. As soon as she went off stage the signs started flashing to leave the stadium due to weather. When I got to my car it was storming pretty bad. Would have been a disaster if the show had started when it was supposed to.
I think that happened in the middle of one of the Nashville shows and they had a 2 hour delay and it ended at 1am or something ridiculous like that.
More likely she has a great sound engineer that auto tunes the hell out of everything. She's not the only one for sure. And, to my knowledge, no one's accused her of lip synching like so many performers these days. I mean, wtf, is up with going to a concert and a bunch of stuff is prerecorded? F*** that. Rather hear TS warble off key to rancid pop music than watch someone lip synch and basically rip their entire audience off.
Wife and I went to both nights. Two amazing shows. Had front row tickets on the floor for Friday. Got a video of her coming over to us and looking right into my camera as she sang. Pretty cool moment for my wife as she is such a big fan.

Tho my teenage daughter has entered a late 80s - 90s rock phase and playing records instead of her phone. So I'm digging that. I can relate to what she is listening to more now than ever lol.

Most of the haters have actually never sat and listened to any actual album of hers, so it's hard to take their opinions seriously.
I mean, Red, 1989, and Folklore are absolute top-notch songwriting and storytelling. To try and deny that she's not a massively talented songwriter is comical.

There have been a lot of successful musical performers that didn't have overwhelming talent. She certainly isn't the first or the last (can someone say KISS?). Monetary success does not equal talent. Just like unbelievable talent doesn't always translate into commercial success. Right place/right time, talent and luck are huge variables.
I don't hate her at all. I literally nothing her. Generally give her newest songs a listen and, invariably, they don't grab me. She can make all the money she wants and I'll applaud her. I won't change my opinion that there are a bunch of singers >> TS that won't make .000001% of what she's making. Fact.
Nice song. Different from some of her more recent hits which sound like mass-produced pop. Never said she had NO talent - just overrated. I mean her fans are absolutely obsessed with her as is the media.
Personally, I like Taylor Momsen's voice (The Pretty Reckless) much better, not to mention their style is a lot closer to my preference. But, hey, to each their own. If more of TS's songs were like that one, I might actually change my mind. Weird, huh?
I think her voice is fine I just don't like her songs. I don't like the music and the lyrics are all the same about her and an ex boyfriend. It's just not my thing. However, lots of people like her and that is what makes the world go around.

They never had the opportunity to play in the mega venues - imagine when Britney and Aguilera came out and played in stadiums - they’d draw mega crowds too. Swift is coming at a post covid era where everyone has been couped up for 3 years and msgve she makes these girls feel relatable b/c she writes her songs. Garth was drawing crazy crowds at his stadium shows before covid forced him to cancel them.

I don’t think either of them could sell out stadiums 2 nights in a row everywhere they went with literally 10s of 1000s of people left without tickets at every show.
Taylor Swift wrote this song her freshman year of high school. I don't think she's that far behind talents like McCartney and others in terms of her songwriting ability.

Generally speaking I'm glad people enjoy her but I must admit I find the over the top infatuation somewhat strange. Short of a religious figure, I can't think of anyone that garners such an intense following.
Also let's be honest: her main talent is surrounding herself with exceptional marketing and production minds. Her vocals are meh, her looks are meh, but her work ethic and marketing team are top notch elite. They know her market and she throws feeds that market into a frenzy. It's truly one of the greatest, if not the greatest, marketing job in the history of entertainment (I think she's with universal).
