“Tai has been suspended from team activities due to a violation of team rules until further notice,” a UK spokesman confirmed.

It's much easier to get into trouble when you're hurt and can't practice, play or travel with the team. All that extra time is dangerous.

Hope it's nothing major, though I find it odd that we'd announce it publicly. Things like this are usually kept in-house, especially when he's already injured and has an excuse not to be around.

Maybe he'll use it as a Harrellson situation.

Well this is disappointing, first being hurt, then getting suspended. You would think being a sophomore and knowing the rules and how Cal is an upperclassmen wouldn't have that problem.

Harsh but...Another disappointment by the staff. Injury, suspension, whatever... this guy wasn't/isn't going to contribute anyway. I find it hard to believe that the staff couldn't land someone more capable than a project from New Zealand. This is the part that bothers me...the staff's inability to build the necessary pieces AROUND the 5 stars. Not asking for much... just some contribution. He gave us nothing and to add to that, he's apparently doing things worthy of suspension.

It wouldn't be wrong to go find 2 or 3 four stars per class to build some experience. Never understood why he doesnt do that.

Duke, The Other One and Done team is experiencing the same issues.

They have six guys that can play and that's it.

I agree with Aaron Torres article I read on another site........ basically said that 3 and 4 year players have no idea what their role will be the next year or year after..... meaning they can/will be recruited over potentially at anytime. So they choose to go somewhere "safer". You only get to play in college for a short time and players want to play.
