Stoops v Cal Media Fight

August 14, 2022 maybe. Historically not even close.
Wrong Ed. Football didn’t just become popular and gain Fan interest here, it’s been there since Commonwealth Stadium opened, I know I was there watching a perennial losing program draw top 30 crowds of 40k to 50k.

the only thing new now is the winning which elevates excitement too but the fan commitment passion and desire for football has always been there. Kind of like Cub fans in baseball

Cal is the only person I know that could come off the disaster he did just 5 months ago that was so bad he was afraid to show his face, then have a great off-season to the point people were started building some kindling to start the fire again for the program, and then dump a HUGE bucket of water on it before it could even get started.

That's how egomaniacs act. They don't wait for a sunny day, as soon as the sun pokes through the clouds, that EGO starts to grow. I can't remember anyone coining him as smart. He's a used car salesman in a $100,000 suit. There might have been a time when he could coach but that was years ago. He has relied on the shadiness of AAU to gain a talent advantage at his last two stops.
