My guess is he was daring one of the reporters to ask him about the Players law suit v the Lexington Police Dept.
Maybe players are looking ahead to ole miss and he wants them focused on northern Illinois.
I kinda like a pi$$ed off football coach.
Probably just firing the guys up to get them focused. This is the last tuneup before we’re balls deep in crucial SEC play. I’m figuring this is probably a particularly tough week of practice where he’s expecting more perfection. I’m expecting us to roll NIU big time.
Saban sounds pissed every single time he’s on camera. If you want Shane Beamer’s goofy ass you’re looking for the wrong things in a coach.

Didn't seem pissed off at all. Also, I doubt he would want (or should) talk about that issue with a game in 2 days and sitting at #8 in the country. He can talk about anything he wants, he wouldn't need the media to prompt him about it. Nothing to see here.
He was "pissed" over the questions about what "STAT" needed to be observed to gauge how Coach Stoops was imploring his team to EXECUTE, play HARD and STRAIN. The look on his face when what sounded like our own J Drum asking him those last 2 questions was hilarious!!!

I have no idea where you watch this and say he sounds pissed. He says multiple times that the team has practiced well this week. Are you trying to start shit?
Yeah, I thought he just sounded very focused in responding to the questions until JDrum's last question. Then, the tone in Stoops' voice just sounded like he thought it was a dumb question.
This. He was clearly irritated about something and though he said we had another good week of practice he said it rather half heartedly.
I personally think he is pissed that the 5 players are suing the Lexington Police Dept. and is tired of all the distractions surrounding his program. This showed in his short and not so sweet post practice presser.
Probably seeing signs of that number 8 ranking going to their heads and wants to bring them back to reality. There’s a lot of tough hard football ahead and they need to keep their edge. That ranking is both a blessing and a curse.
I would imagine he wants the guys to play like they were ranked 48 instead of 8. Stoops loves the underdog, unappreciated role.
True but if he ever wants to make the FF he will have to embrace being a favorite most weeks, which is the point UK football is at.

Good. I like my coach a little pissed off. He was clearly a little worked up. Yeah they have won some games and played well but coach isn’t going to let them get complacent. He wants more. He’s a coach not a cheerleader
Seems to me like he was ready to get a beer and cheeseburger; and he was just agitated that he had to answer questions which was stopping him from doing that. And then the question was fairly stupid, which only served to agitate him more, again, cause he wanted that cheeseburger and Miller Lite.

I dont think he's a bad guy, he was way too giddy about getting a big time headh coaching gig and tried way too hard to be the hip, fun loving, look how loose and cool I am coach guy. But some of that bubbliness wore off this past week when he got trounced then ticked off a little over half the worlds population in the same 3 hours.I really cannot stand Beamer. Reminds me of my father-in-law. One pissed off sob, at everything-anything. Still one of my favorite people I’ve ever met lol. Pissed off is a good thang.
Gawd i hope thats the case … though am not very hopeful …. Just too much lack of attention to detail to overcome in one week
He didn’t specifically mention the playoff, but that’s basically what Brad White said on Pin it Deep (Max Duffy & Miles Butler’s podcast).
I was at that game and the thing I remember most about that game is the announcer saying "Tackle by Singletary" all day, then later I found out who Singletary was and why Kentucky couldn't block him.
