Cardinals Hall of Famer, legendary broadcaster Mike Shannon dies at 83
Shannon spent his entire big-league playing career with St. Louis from 1962 to 1970 and was a two-time World Champion as a member of the 1964 and 1967 Cardinals.

Mike was known for his Yogi Berra type statements. Ie It is Mother's Day, so Happy Birthday to all you mothers out there. Don't bite your head off to spite you nose. The right hander is throwing up in the bullpen. I've heard it said That if you know English,Spanish, Italian and I think its French you can go Can go about anywhere in the world...Except for China where they have all those derelicts.
