Watch that heart, I feel you are a little too old to argue. If one bad loss to the two time defending champion on their home field under the lights of a night game made you “leave the bus” , then we would just be wasting our time .
Lol If we played on neutral field it would be more like 40-20. at Kroger? Id say even.UGA beat Vandy by 17.
We also beat Vandy by 17.
We're as good as UGA – confirmed by the transitive property.
This. Great postThe offense UGA ran against UK didn't exist prior to the UK game. We threw 30% of the passes behind the LOS. CMS and the DC gameplanned for what film said we did. New QV, new OC, what else could they do? AU did the same to us, they ran zero RPO until the game with us, and ran it over and over. How was CMS going to know Beck was an accurate downfield passer if he hadn't seen it?
I hope you are right and I do appreciate the football related response.Funny thing. The UK defense has consistently been top four in the SEC and top 20 in the nation but the thought here is they aren't well coached. Other schools making runs at our DC are apparently idiots. Fans overreact much?
Maybe, just maybe UK caught a team on a thirty game win streak at their place at a time when they were completely fed up about hearing how complacent and pitiful they had become. You think anyone else in the country bets Georgia at home under the lights last week? Who?
Maybe just maybe Georgia is a bad match up for UK because they mirror each other in approach to the game...and Georgia has far more talent.
There are bad matches for teams...Tenn/Florida ring any bells?
Maybe, just maybe, UK needed a beat down to come together and play with the mentality necessary to take the next step up the ladder. The schedule from here on out is loaded with opportunities for redemption.
Look, UK has two coordinators that are well respected, perhaps not by our fans, but by other football coaches. UK has been putting more players into the NFL. More future NFL players are on the current roster. Talent is on the rise. If, you dont agree with that and want off the bus, jump.
The schedule from Georgia on is likely the toughest in the nation. They won't win all of those games but I want to see how far they have come.
By the way, when Liam gets Saunders, you will be trying to get back on. Watch his tape...and he is just a high school junior. Remember that when you watch because it is hard to comprehend when you see him play.
So who’s arguing little fella.Watch that heart, I feel you are a little too old to argue.
If we lose the Championship Classic this year I may be on a self imposed sports ban for awhile.Let tonight’s game be your gauge for jumping on or off. If Missouri beats us, you’ll have a lot of good company off the bus. It will be pretty much basketball season for the majority of our fans with guaranteed losses to TN and Alabama coming up.
I’d say you’re completely justified to move on now.I admit it; I'm so disillusioned by the Georgia game that I'm not sure I want to watch the Missouri game.
While most here seem to be worried about the offense it was the defense that has me feeling so bad
about the team.
We didn't just give up 50 points we gave up 50 while trying to limit the other team's
possessions. Since Georgia was scoring every possession, if we played at a normal pace Ga would have
had a couple extra possessions and put up 60+ on us.
Now Stoops and many here would have me believe that the talent of Georgia's offense is just that much better than the talent we have on defense.
But I have watched Georgia some this year and they don't have the kind of offense that does that
to everybody. UK made them look that way.
It just seems to me that our defensive schemes, which
don't seem to ever get adjusted during the game, allow an accurate passing qb in the right offensive scheme
to complete certain types of passes at will. I'm talking about our defensive style of play, not talent.
I sincerely believe we have the talent to stop teams on an occasional possession. Missouri has an accurate qb
and I kind of expect him to go 27/30 and be defended exactly the same way the next 20 passes. Somebody talk me off the ledge
and tell me why I'm wrong. I'd love it. Sorry to all that read this negative mess but I just had to vent...
just keep walkin' and save the bus fare.I admit it; I'm so disillusioned by the Georgia game that I'm not sure I want to watch the Missouri game.

It's called making in-game adjustments....which we failed...This. Great post
UK football had a great team in 1965, some great seniors in Norton, Bird, Ball, Kestner, Davis, etc among the seniors. Unfortunately our coach ran off most of the team and injuries killed us at the end of the season, primarily Norton at QB where we had to have a DB finish out the season. Bird was considered a #1 draft choice on BOTH offense and defense, in both the NFL and fledgling AFL, and most of the starters played both offense and defense. For me it's easy, I just enjoy UK football, basketball, and baseball. UK football is in its best shape since the 1950s, it's easy for me to be happy about that. But it is sports, sometimes I take my lumps and move on to next week. I look forward to every game.
Finally ... rational thought. I knew we were just as good as UGA.UGA beat Vandy by 17.
We also beat Vandy by 17.

I wonder if he was ever on the bus?!?!just keep walkin' and save the bus fare.
