Source: Tush push ban has support in committee
At the league meetings this week in West Palm Beach, Florida, a source with direct knowledge told ESPN that the Green Bay Packers' proposal to ban the push sneak, popularly known as the tush push, has support within the NFL's competition committee.
Why don't those fkers make holding a penalty? Maybe make it so an OL can't still hold a DL from behind, or around the neck?
Maybe they should actually enforce or clarify existing rules like alignment along the LOS on offense and defense, so EVERYONE has enough people on the LOS on offense, and the defense isn't lined up in the neutral zone on 50% of plays?
Maybe they could give the replay official the ability to call blatant whiffs by the on field School for the Blind graduates? A face mask or hands to the face that rips a guy's helmet off during the play so THEY have to sit out a play...?
How about watching a whole replay after a PF OR UC to see if the infraction was retaliation and calling it on both players? Let the replay guys be in charge of that.
NFL officiating makes pissing on the urinal cake at halftime look difficult.
