Slick Rick On UL's Talent This Year, Per Trey Lewis

Obviously the season has to play out so it remains to be seen but Rick is working with these guys every day and we are not so we have to take his word for it as of now. He's already said that Damien Lee is a better version of Ron Mercer and that we have 8 NBA players on our roster. If all of that is true, then yes, this will quite possibly be the best team he's coached in 40 years.
Are you truly that stupid? Never mind. You're a Tard. It's a given.

Isn't that pretty much what he says every year about his UL team? It's kind of like crying wolf. At some point we just don't believe it anymore. To suggest this UL team is better than his '98 or '13 teams is an insult to both those teams.

haha. petjurino is the only poster i've seen who is consistently skewered as a troll on both the uk and dirtybird boards, and has yet to be banned. gotta hand it to him, he keeps you guessing. i really can't tell if he just likes trolling or if he truly is stupid.

Man, I feel SOOOO bad for you. But more importantly, I REALLY hope you aren't any type of manager or anyone of importance at any company. The end result would be putrid.
How can you…. Nevermind, just never-freakin'-mind. Wow.

ACC must be a dominating powerhouse this year. Media picks them to finish 7th in the conference.

Rick said that because he wants the UL fans to think they will tank a very promising season if they dare to get rid of him when he has the best team he's coached in the last 40 years all ready to go.

Then when they flop and lose 15 games he'll just throw them all under the bus to underscore it couldn't possibly be the fault of his coaching because by that time he would have survived the scandal and be right back in business.

Fools day is every day for Quick Rick.

i am thinking BOTH!

LITTLE BROTHEL ATHLETICS: THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING!

CBS ranks 'em

50.

Louisville:
Damion Lee could have a good year. There's also the current scandal. How much does that affect what goes on in the program? No way to tell. But no denying this is the weakest Pitino roster in more than five years.
Louisville homer says: "CBS has always hated us. All they want to do is put down the Cardinals. I bet the person who made those rankings is a UK alum. Either that or Calipari called them and told them to rank us this way! He's so slimy!"

But seriously, CBS's analysis here is spot on. The fact that Louisville's 2 best players are these graduate transfers should speak volumes to anyone who is thinking. Yes, I'm sure those guys are good players, but for these 2 guys to be able to come into a high D1 program and become options 1 and 2 in the offense immediately says that the roster was hurting. And I think we all knew that, anyway. Louisville fans say that UK lost more, which is true, but when a team like Louisville loses its top 4 scorers and replaces them with 2 grad transfers and a couple 4-star recruits ranked 31 and 47 nationally, it means this year is gonna be tough. Add in the scandal they're dealing with and it could be a debacle.

Pet has gone too far with this one and totally blown his cover, although most knew he was a UK fan trying to make UL look bad, or simply trying to get a rise out of us. Of all the things he's said, this was the one too over the top and now anybody with half a brain knows whatever he is, he doesn't believe what he's saying. That was simply way over the top, and Its a shame for him who's put in all that work to troll. Instead Of gaining some credibility by admitting that Slick went over the top, he blew his cover lol!

As far as the Siva vs Wall, it was said that he was faster and better both by different idiots. I specifically remember seeing Siva>wall lol!

There is no such thing as a good graduate transfer. If they were any good they would have transferred to the NBA, period.

Yes, first it was Siva>Wall, then it was Siva>Knight, then it was Siva>Teague.
Wall plays for the Wizards. Knight plays for the Suns. Teague played two seasons with the Bulls and one for the Nets.
Siva plays for the Erie Bayhawks.
Oops, looks like the Cards were wrong again. :D

I agree. Hoilberg (sp?) at Iowa State made a go out of it for several good years. But, this isn't really Pitino's style.
Pitino is able to coach up 4 stars (and very few 5 stars) to be good by their Jr. and Sr. years in his system. Now, he will have to rely upon guys leading the team who've not been used to his system. He will have to adjust to his personnel.

Of course, you would never get any UL fan to agree, but this is where Cal has shown success as a coach. Yes, he has good talent, but he has to adjust to new players each year-- which isn't easy. Pitino will be thrown to fire to show how he can coach to a young group with several newcomers. And, Pitino will still have many So. and Jr. than Cal is ever used to returning.

ccukuk doesn't remember this so obviously it never happened. He's a UL fan, anyway. Not sure why he is trolling the UK boards bragging about having a million dollars in the bank and will be debt free by age 53. Oh, he also saved Pee Wee Herman from committing suicide in a Panamanian rain forest and drinks expensive recycled Hawaiian tap water.

I think there is much truth in this post,Rick is just throwing stuff out to try and take the media's mind off the scandal. In order to do that he must go where none of the crap he says has gone before.

It is probably about 50/50 that he finishes the year as UL's coach and there is some possibility that he doesn't coach the first game.
