Kentucky football could be six and one if they just beat the teams they were favored to beat. They had three games they were the favorite and lost all three of them. You could be six and one with a one-point loss to Georgia probably number five or six or seven in the country.
Got damn it we should have handled our ##cking business.
I just realized that was the scenario. We lost three damn games as the favorite and one point to Georgia. It's a damn shame we had it set up perfect.
If you get rid of Stoops you got to make sure you get a name coach who can recruit like we did with the women's basketball. A name coach and you make him top five paid.

1. We got handled pretty easily vs. Florida.....always trailing and then in 2nd half it got away from us.
2. I get we lost nailbiter's to UGA adn Vandy.....but Ole Miss was a nail bitter that went our way.

This team is what it's record say we are.....better than non conference cupcakes by a good bit. And in SEC play...we're a bottom tier team this year. We'll score in high teens/low 20s and have to hope our defense strangles the opponents to a bad offensive night....that is our only chance to win.

The numbers say the offensive line played fine in the Florida game. it was more poor decision making on a quarterback imo
And defense not playing up to par. We need to have our best cornerback in the game on the road.

I honestly question these ghost games Kentucky shows up for. Are they afraid to win more than 6 games so they can keep expectations low. 6 wins keeps the coach employed, and in Top Ten highest paid coaches. There’s no pressure to to exceed 6 wins..

Dont underestimate the loss of Maxwell Hairston. He was an all SEC Corner.
Our Secondary has been getting lit up since his exodus.

Max being out really hurt. Now silver is banged up. I know deonne gets all the love but silver is the key to the run defense just like last year.

Makes no difference who our offensive coordinator is, our offense under Stoops stinks.

The way we played shortened games so ppg is deceiving. We were really efficient, kept the ball, and were really good in the rz.

Bush isnt good at all on 3rd down/2pt/key play designs. We basically just run a normal play but our talent isnt good enough for that. Thats his most noticable flaw and why we struggle in the Red zone. He actually does ok before getting to the rz.

It seems like we talk a lot about the “what if’s” with the football team. Coming off bye weeks we suck, but does Stoops do anything different? The SEC is a tough league and with us not being a football school, we will always be Hexed like Herro says and not get the breaks.

We are not a good team, have no leadership to help pull this team to the finish line each week. Heck we still lose bye weeks each and every year and have 1 more this year to lose. We get to 4 wins and possibly a 5th if we find a way to ruin Louisville on more time.

Auburn lost last second nail biters to Oklahoma and Missouri, where they had the lead but could not hold on, plus got upset at home by Cal, who has been blowing leads all season. So they could/should be 5-2 instead of 2-5.

But they are not, and neither are we.

Thats a lame excuse. He was there just one year
prior. It was his offensive coaches in place that he handpicked.

Hes great but you cant squeeze that intricate offense into a limited few hours a week of practice. It required guys to buy in. Coincidentally the guys he recruited. That didn't happen.

So i 100% agree the offense is full of entitled nil divas but they were all recruited by coen and coached by guys he brought in.

With as much staff movement we have had, we have been consistent stats wise. We do not throw the ball well enough to win big games and aren’t good enough scheme and skills wise to be a running team. If you want to run the ball, you have to be able to make plays down the field throwing the ball.

And people on here assuming that call standing means we won that game are crazy. More like it wakes UGA up and they score TDs on the next 3 straight possessions. It would have been nice to have the chance to have that lead but definitely wouldn't have guaranteed anything.

We were in the lead well after that play occurred. They were awake. We just played to the perception of our competition, like we have all season.

The record at worst should be four and two losing to Georgia and Ole Miss. A normal stoop season. But instead we got this mismatch of disappointment mostly and elation from beating the little bitch Lane kiffin.

I know the ball hit the ground bounced in the air and was caught by UK player and returned. It's a football rule not mine and always has been. UK played well enough to win the game, but ended up kicking 4 FG instead of getting one in and it cost the game, not a pass that clearly was incomplete being called incomplete.

College players do that every game, grab an incomplete pass and try to return it.

As for UGA getting all calls, had to score twice against Texas before getting the call, a penaltt was called, marked off and play signaled after a conference, but during trash clean up, officials met again, reversed a non reviewable penalty and reversed call. Probably correct call, but set a precedent of throwing bottles on the field to get a call you want. We will see this again.
