When a player swats marcus lees arms, making him bobble a ball, no foul is called.
All good, people miss calls sometimes.
Marcus Lee recovers the ball, and the MS player rips it from his hands and it cascades off of Lee's elbow while he was standing out of bounds.
Problem? The Mississippi State player was standing flat footed out of bounds when he ripped the ball away.

Thank you SEC officials, for yet another display of excellence.

Getting a call wrong in real time is part of the game. Tony green however went to the monitor and reviewed the out of bounds call under 2 minutes and still got it wrong.

Tyler Ulis sort of bumped a Miss St player when they were all in a pack,the Miss st player pushed him and then Murray jumped in like a hot head and pushed back hard,problem was there should have been a Technical on Miss St too,but the crappy Officials with their Anti-UK Bias make bad calls,Roger Ayers,Tony Greene,Pat Adams,Doug Shows,and a couple others I'm forgetting are among the worst in the whole NCAA,why the SEC gets the dregs is beyond me?
They change the games and don't call it the same for both teams,they made some bad calls against Miss st in the first half then doubled them against UK in the second half.Just plain Terrible Officiating,time to clean house,obvious gamblers run these pos

I'm curious about the technical as well. I thought Ulis and/or Murray deserved one, but the State player retaliated and nothing. Usually offsetting T's are enforced in that scenario. Then again, most refs don't **** up a call after going to replay either.

Yes they did. A bad officiating game is irritating but excusable. It happens. Nobody is perfect. But the 3 minutes starting with the technical was beyond that. It was either absolute incompetence or blatant bias.

I agree ,Murray seems to have a hot head,some of the technical fouls called on UK so far were deserved,but a couple were shams,what pisses me off is I've seen Lee get elbowed in the face,broke his nose,and it happens multiple times in games in front of officials who don't call the Flagrant Foul

Bluest Member, you must be one sick puppy if you believe what you just typed because I feel exactly the same way and everyone calls me a sick puppy.

Every thing was pretty well evenly called until UK went up 53-33. Then just like a signal was given, the refs went on an assault of UK.

The worse call of the night was the 1:45 mark when Tony Greene went to the monitor and clearly saw that the ball was UK's and still the bastard gave it to Mississippi State. That was a correctable error and he still refused to change it. Tony is a cheating piece of shit.

Screw that ... if somebody ****s with Tyler, I hope Murray or anyone else with a sack steps in to assist. Everybody needs a chip on their shoulder when you're playing at such a high level. Lets the comp know they're not going to push you around. Skal needs to take notes.

I agree. I honestly don't understand why there were any technicals called at all but I didn't hear what was said. Murray needs to chill out. He comes out of nowhere just to jump in the middle of a scrap and takes it too far. If he wants to be a leader he has to handle those situations better. I like that he wants to take up for his teammates but there's a right and a wrong way to do that.

I like the fire from Murray. I don't see a knucklehead trying to start fights over every issue like Vontez Burfit..I see a guy who doesn't back down from any mouthing and he plays with a huge edge which helps him IMO

I agree with being aggressive,but there is a right way and a wrong way,those Technical Fouls last night changed the game from a 20 point win to a 6 point win.You have to keep your head and show it on the court,not in a clusterpuck

I agree, but it wasn't just the techs that swung the game. It was a flurry of bad calls that came around that time. Basically Greene and Ayers took over. They both hate Cal. Ayers cost us a game @UNC a couple years ago if you'll recall. He T'ed up Cal from across the court when Cal had his back turned. I'll never forget it. Most phantom Tech I've ever seen issued.

Anyways, back to Murray. I like his fire. As long as he doesn't start swinging haymakers, I'm okay with jawing and standing up for teammates. I would have, and have done the same thing. Cal says, "Take care of your brothers". That's what he was doing. It's a non issue if the official gives the State player a tech for retaliating, which he should have. Would have been off-setting.

Cats have been reamed in Chapel Hill the last 3 trips there,noone on earth can tell me that it wasn't crooked officiating in those games,Kentucky had over half the team fouled out in one of them,and it was just blatant bad calls on UK while letting UNC get away with murder.
There are alot of UK Haters out there ,especially in officiating these days,appears they are getting even for last seasons run,Like I said there needs to be a house cleaning in officiating and changes made to monitor these guys.

Yes and Briscoe was innocent,it was Murray,shows incompetence to me,I thought it was a one and one foul from the previous play on the Miss st Player

It's a good thing Skal's first name is easy to spell, nobody seems to be able to get Tyler's last name right. I Can't imagine how badly Skal's last name would get butchered on here.
There is only 1 "l" and 1 "s" in Tyler's last name. Even Louisville fans get it right, why can't we?

I didn't either,I thought it was a 1 and 1 foul from the play,but looking at the box score it says Miss States player IJ Ready was assessed a Technical Foul

Briscoe shot the one-and one (almost airballed the front end and didn't get the second).

Because UK had 2 technicals assessed to them versus only one to State, they got to shoot 2 free throws.

It was ridiculous. Either should have been nothing called or an equal number to offset. It was literally a couple of shoves by both teams. PLAY ON!

If so it could be a cause of these poor excuse for officials and their agenda in calling UK Games

Also, one of the MSU bigs got involved and was shoving - no T for him.

I'm telling ya, Tony Greene watched that thing for 5 minutes trying to make sure UK would come up short.

The fair response would have either been to warn both sides, or issues offsetting Techs. No reason that dust up should have resulted in MSU gaining an advantage...unless a ref was trying to shave points off UK's lead.

Wrong. Murray did NOT get a T. It was Ullis and Briscoe that did the pushing. Both got a T. MSU DID get a T. One of our T's and their T offset. Briscoe shot a foul because he was fouled and we FINALLY got into the one and one. He missed (front end of the 1and1) and then MSU shot their T freethrow.

Pay attention to point spreads. If a game(any game, not just UK)gets out of hand and a ref/refs see an opportunity/opportunities to pull it back closer to the final spread, they will. IMO.

Even though the head of officiating went to UK for a year or two, I was told by a UL alum that he has more ties to the UL side but I can't confirm it. The thing that makes you think is his first year, he put a UL fan in to officiate @ Arkansas which is against sec rules.

Also , the sec commissioner is from Miss State and I can assure you that fact landed them Ben Howland and look for officiating like that more in the future when they get better players especially
