I have been reading about every football team in the SEC this year from their local podcasts to postings from many of the national pundits. It seems like almost every team is seen to be able to win 9 games or more. Wow - the SEC is being asked to almost do the impossible. From what I have read only Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Florida have not had meaningful predictions of potential 9 win seasons this year. Based on this, football season is going to be as exciting in this league as it has ever been - and yes Kentucky is in that discussion!
It seems that many of the podcasters are now more optimistic about UK than had been all spring and summer - sounds to me like some of what we have been hearing about overall talent on this roster has actually been scrutinized enough to create some serious interest in UK having a great year and being a possible spoiler/dark horse to the playoffs!
Go Big Blue!
