Stoops gets 2.5 million dollar raise for being a laughing stock of the league...guess we STH will get stiffed with higher ticket prices. I'm close to being done for me and my family . I'd hate it, but I'm on the brink. Sixth highest paid coach in the country, for what?

As a STH, I agree. I also think the changes he will need to make are glaring. If he refuses to make them, many will decline to renew for next year, despite the marquee games. I am hopeful he will make the difficult decisions.
The most difficult decision he needs to make starts with him!!!! 15ppg in the SEC won't win fb games and he is hell bent on thinking he's on the right track

No. Look at the number of schools n the number of teams it takes to make a bowl. It like the NCAA bball tourney. There’s 60+ in the tourney
It used to be that In Both sports it was a very good year if u made a bowl game/bball tourney but now it’s judged that you had a bad year if you don’t-huge difference! Almost like a participation trophy lol

I have had Season Tickets and Parking Pass for 42 years. My wife and I had already discussed this might be our last year before season started. The cost,HDTV,Grandkids and other interests was already making it tougher and tougher to renew. If there is any price increase ( which I feel will be) we be done.

These are just to name a few of the blunders that lazy Mitch didn’t do his homework on before he decided to hand out contracts or extensions!
One thing that grinds my gears as a STH… prime tailgating spots in the green/white lot with tents staked out and marked with caution tape… only for people to not show to 3 games now this year (YSU, VU, UGA). I mean, WTF?
I have liked Mitch since the get go but this one takes the cake. No reason to do this. You are rewarding mediocrity, and mediocrity was doing damn good to begin with. I havent been a Stoops fan for quite some time and this make sure I never am unless he starts getting top 10 recruiting classes and wins the national title.
