Ranking the overall strength of SEC East programs

Why did the recemt ESPN article put UK at 7th in the conference and Thug U at eighth? The best team doesn't always win in football, have you ever noticed that? QB injuries are the ONLY reason you beat us this year. Also the only reason a couple of other teams beat us this year.
A QB injury is the only reason you kept it close.

Did you get your Doctor's degree from Thug U?
Nah. I just used deductive reasoning to see that kids seem to be playing at a higher clip with less injuries and almost no recurring injuries than under the previous staff.

So you'd rather have Pruitt than a hall of fame CEO that's one of only six active head coaches to win a NC? lol Ok.
There’s a reason that coaches like Les Miles went to KU, Spurrier to USC East, Mack to UNC and Fulmers only offer after Tennessee was Louisville. They had one Natty each despite having wildly talented teams in talent rich locations. Mack can’t give you a decade of winning. He might get you around 8-5 seasons with a 10 win season here or there but the dudes done by 2024 at the latest.

Goodness, that's a big wall of text for a simple question.

And ESPN looked at the injuries and concluded that the previous staff was let go because they kept too many players out because they were injured. Just win baby, the hell with the injured.

They didn’t conclude that. They asked some fired guys what they thought. I bet if I ask Joker Phillips if he thinks UK is a great employer and if they’re fair to POCs, he’d probably shed some negative light too. Fired people are usually bitter and rarely see themselves in the wrong. Jack Jones and Chance Hall probably have some negative things to say about that previous medical staff. The same clinic is still contracted by UT. They just wanted different surgeons. Do you really think if Pruitt was forcing players back on the field, that clinic would keep their doctors there?

And FOUR QB injuries was the only reason you kept it close.
They would’ve much rather faced Smith or Wilson. And your coaches told the announcing crew that week that Smith was good to go but they decided to stick with Bowden because of the offensive production they were getting from him.

I didn't do the investigation, ESPN did.

And Joker would have been right, UK's athletic director (that is a big hero now with all the money from the OTHER SEC football programs obscene money) did absolutely NOTHING extra for the football program his first DECADE there, until the strike caused UK to lose over 15,000 season ticket holders AND multimillions in donations and the wheels fell off. Joker's first year in 2010 UK football's recruiting budget was just over $300K while yours was over a million (not counting the "recruiting service", promptly dropped when it got Oregon in trouble) with all your other advantages, and cheating has always been one of the biggest. There was NO CHOICE but to throw money at the program, and now the sky is the limit with almost unlimited money to spend.

There is a reason that a lot of coaches throw the ball with a first and goal at the four, and there is a reason that UK didn't AND that Thug U gambled on them not throwing it for four downs. And if the gimme EP (was it Thug U that I read hadn't missed an EP in four years?) hadn't been missed earlier it would have been easy to go to overtime, and we did drive the ball down the field on that last possession. We did the same thing against VT in the bowl, an eight minute drive.

Yes. I will take ESPN's word on that one.

Teams rarely throw inside the 5. What the hell are you talking about? Your coverage has 15 yards to cover. That’s why people run it in.

Dude no one believes you’re a UT fan. You’re really bad at this trolling thing.

YOU are going to try to say someone else isn't a Tennessee fan, when you

1) spend all day - morning, afternoon, evening, and night - posting on a Kentucky football forum, and

2) didn't realize that the Vols lost to two non-P5 teams (Georgia State and BYU) last year, instead of one?

That doesn't look like an authentic Tennessee fan to me.

Next, will you be standing up for Lane Kiffin or Nu'Keese Richardson or something?

If you lost to Notre Dame would that be a non P5 loss?

You dimwitted ut fans probably aren’t allowed on the free board over at your ut football site ,because fans ,just like here, are tired of your dumbass comments!

"but by a medical staff that wasn't very good at getting guys healed properly (which is why that staff was let go),"

But but but-----

ESPN said that staff was let go because they wouldn't OK players to play when they were needed before they got healed. I wonder why they would say that unless it were true? And Pruitt said not to look at him, he wasn't even in charge of letting them go, I wonder who was.

OH, he said it was PHAT PHIL, can you imagine him being in charge of anything except winning?

And ESPN got their story from the guys who got fired. I am sure a fired staff had good things to say.

The medical staff does report to the AD, that is true, but I sort of suspect a HC and an AD will be communicating on whether a medical staff is not fulfilling its obligations. But if conspiracy theories are your thing, then have at it.

We only have a pay board over there for football. Wish there were more open boards.

When is the last time you had FOUR of your top QBs out with injury? When is the last time you had a WR taking most of the snaps, the only time I can remember at UK is when our WR ended your long winning streak against us in 2011, he passed about as well as Bowden (fantastic runner), he was 3 for 5 for TWELVE yards.

Then maybe UK needs to fire its medical staff if Stoops can't keep QBs healthy. But Bowden was 5-2 as a starter, so maybe you should give him credit instead of acting like he was a liability. I honestly can't imagine Wilson would have given UK a better record than Bowden.

Shows how much you know about our program, and yet you act like you are an expert because you played us one game.

Funny, when the story came out Pruitt said he had nothing to do with it, it wasn't his job.

Wilson got injured on an illegal horse collar tackle, got the 15 yards but cost us a lot more than that, our other starting QB had two injuries.

So what do y’all think about the Lynn Bowden rule getting passed? Imagine if y’all lost him for the bowl game? Oh wait. Sawyer Smith, who was healthy, would’ve allowed y’all to win by more by your logic.

You seem to be all about the football ta
Firing and hiring isn’t his job. He obviously works with the medical staff.

Neither Fulmer nor Pruitt is going to do anything to risk a player's health. There is no evidence in either of their histories of doing anything like that.

VaTech fans were so pissed when Bowden was allowed to play lol. They still haven't moved on from it.

Personally, I think it's great for the game as long as it doesn't go too far. You obviously wanna try to prevent pregame brawls and serious injuries. But they let a QB, Bowden, go after their best DL, then proceed to run the ball down all over them the entire game...lol I mean that's on Tech.

Nah. Bowdens not good bro. Haven’t you heard the posters? Terry Wilson is 10x better.

lol. Wilson was a four star out of high school, good enough to go to a pretty prominent program, Oregon. The problem there was they also signed one of the top prospects in the nation, that was just projected as the #6 overall pick in one mock draft, ahead of Tua. Wilson was behind him as a freshman and didn't like the prospect of playing (not playing) behind him for four years, so he went to a JC college before transferring to UK, UK beating out programs like Florida and Nebraska for him. He helped UK to a 10 win season.. He
beat Florida on the road his only year of playing here, not nearly the nobody you seem to want to think he is. We return THREE very good RBs along with most of our offense and defense, I would say good luck but there isn't anyone that deserves to get their comeuppance more than Thug U.

And no shortage of QBs this year, he and Smith plus a 6.0 transfer from Auburn that will probably be eligible and a four star freshman.
