There should be a grace period and new immigration law passed to restructure asylum claims and streamline the citizenship process.

This rare earths issue is a big concern to me. Our problem isn't alternate ore sources. It's lack of refining ore capacity. Our EPA is the problem. I hear talk of locating refineries on US-owned land where the EPA isn't in play.

Japan has pitched a rare-earths alliance as part of tariff negotiations, and the Administration would be wise to expand such a partnership with other allies.
