A little food for thought. I've told parts of this story before. Back during riots after Kent State, they gathered a bunch of us with our alert gear and transportation ready in case a nearby riot got out of hand. They issued us M-16's and NO ammo. Told us no ammo would be issued. Luckily, we were not deployed. With the current administration, they probably would not do it to the current guys, but reckon they let the NG or Marines even have ammo?

If I decided that this country just wasn't for me, and another country offered me a better way of life, the last thing I would do is wave the American flag around there. And if that place turned to shit, I'd come back home. For the life of me I can't understand why people from other countries hate home so bad that they leave, only to parade the flag of the place they just left. On second thought, I do understand. They had some sort of night time marathon event over the weekend. That doesn't happen if the city is a burning pile of rubble like so many of you are pretending it is. There are isolated issues and sporadic violence, but it's not even close to the level that would justify federalizing the National Guard. The vast majority of the city is completely fine.

This is a great example of where we must, MUST, adopt their tactics. We currently just give it an, oh shucks, and go about our day. That does not end things.
