Add in the fact the show's in Atlanta and Goldberg will be over massively.
WWE needs to fire whoever the hell is writing this entrance music. These all sound exactly the same in this KOTR match. They're all about selling everything, how about making some music people actually want to listen to?

My 5YO is really into wrestling right now and wants to watch my favorite guys so we watched the 1989 great American bash.
Watche dit for Sting/Flair but watched the Steiners vs Bad Street USA or whoever Hayes/Garvin were. They had the sparkly outfits and makeup and the crowd was flat out chanting F**got at them. Since my 13 and 15 YO’s were laughing so hard now I’m having to explain why they chanted that word and hopefully the 5YO doesn’t keep it in his portfolio!

The world was different then. I still remember a heel Jerry Lawler calling a babyfave Goldust a “flaming f—-t” in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to a huge pop. I remember the Lenny and Lodi chants in WCW.
The 90s were a different time where boundary pushing was a thing that was highly encouraged societally. Also, that was the last decade where being gay was this taboo thing. Nobody cares now.

My assumption is that TK wanted to give as many wrestlers as possible the experience of wrestling in that arena. But yeah, your point stands. Those crazy multi man matches were a bit much.

Sasha demanded Vince create women’s tag titles
Sasha walked out in the middle of a show b/c she didn’t want to drop the tag titles
She only put over willow in Japan bc she broke her foot and they had to book that on the fly
Sasha walks into AEW and is forced to turn heel a week after her debut b/c the fans generally don’t like her
Sasha refuses to put anyone over during her AEW tenure accumulating numerous belts and at the same time diminishes Athena’s 1000 day roh title reign with one match on dynamite among other things
But she is immune to criticism by AEW marks?
She basically the modern day female version of hulk hogan but it’s perfectly acceptable since she’s in AEW!
She isn't immune to criticism. Most of her haters don't like "brown lady stand up for herself." They hated Naomi until she came crawling back to the E. And they'd be over the moon if Sasha came back, tail between her legs. It's mostly bad faith criticism, IMHO.
I just generally don’t like “belt collector” gimmicks. If/when she ends up taking both AEW women’s belts, it makes the division look weak because none of them can stop one of the smallest women on the roster.
Flip side, I am OK with a belt collector gimmick if it eventually leads to a “riches to rags” grand downfall story. But, with her apparent ego (walked out of the other company over creative she disagreed with …twice), I am skeptical that she would agree to put over enough other women to lose all those belts in short order. You also can’t have the AEW world women’s champion jobbing to some rando from Mexico or Japan to get those minor league belts off her.
Tony has booked his entire division into this Mercedes corner. I am curious to see how he proceeds.
She dropped one of her belts last month. The NJPW one, I think.
I understand that’s a consensus counter argument among fans but it’s a lazy argument to say that.
