They had some sort of night time marathon event over the weekend. That doesn't happen if the city is a burning pile of rubble like so many of you are pretending it is. There are isolated issues and sporadic violence, but it's not even close to the level that would justify federalizing the National Guard. The vast majority of the city is completely fine.

A little food for thought. I've told parts of this story before. Back during riots after Kent State, they gathered a bunch of us with our alert gear and transportation ready in case a nearby riot got out of hand. They issued us M-16's and NO ammo.
