Have never been a Stoops fan. Fans hooping it up because we go to 'bowls'. When you play 4 or 5 non conference games the like of Ohio U and can only win 1 or 2 conference games to go to a 'bowl'....that's not stellar in my opionion. Average at best. Actually below average.
Think he rode the coattails of his brother....who I've always liked and is a good coach.
With THIS government, I'm not sure how good these orders are. I can see some 'deep state', lib bureaucrat illegally feeding them info.
Its insane and wont be getting easier. The sec has the best coaches by far and backed by nil.
We're going to need to really improve our talent level to compete for titles. That's going to take (probably) significantly more money. By more money, it really means more money from the crafts since they're basically it.
The bad news, since im a football fan too, is thats going to drain football nil; making a tough job even tougher.
So to compete in football, either someone else in this state needs to become a billionaire or the program will have to charge a football only nil fee on ticket purchases, like other schools do. Otherwise we wont be competitive in football for the foreseeable future.
I remember reading an article where Liam Neeson was interviewed a year or two after Taken came out. Was talking about how crazy it was that he was now (then) a big action, tough guy star and that he was like 60+ years old. Said it made no sense to him.

I think I stated this earlier in a post before this USAID was being exposed but when they were brought up.
I am a people person, I enjoy people but one trait I have is, I pay attention to the person versus paying attention to what they say. I had an interview with USAID back in about 2018 or 2019. (Somewhere around that time frame.) I interviewed and had a decent interview but I met several people during that interview and just did not get a good feeling about any of them. Normally when I get that feeling I just walk away from that type, I try graciously doing that. In any event, I never got offered the job and know I would not have taken it had they offered it to me. I think it was four people I met and in talking with each one of them, I wanted to stay away from them all. Just an aside but when this all hit I remembered it. I do trust myself and this time it seemed to have played out...
