Here is the the REAL tell, that I'm happy about this year. I'm able to watch the rest of these games. Last year it was more than I could bear, to watch the tournament. Because THIS year, we actually MATTERED for most of it.
Hate seeing that picture of Butler crying. Guy played his ass off with one arm/shoulder for like half the season. He even played pretty good tonight.
When I saw the bracket, I assumed that was the ceiling. If it was St. John’s, it would be a toss up but I just expected Tennessee to win.

Love this team. Sweet 16 was probably their ceiling given all the problems. Giving up the offensive rebounds was a problem all season and it really killed them tonight. Hopefully Pope will get more Oscar like players next year. Beasts on the glass.

If we have the same OC, I don't see us being good at either running or passing. He didnt impress anyone with his inability to take what the opposing defense couldn't stop, so how the fk is he gonna improve the behind the line of scrimmage passing game while he abandons what has worked with the running game?
We needed a tall QB with decent legs to run the ball when necessary, so we could use the TEs and the middle of the field. We didn't get that in the portal. I don't have much hope but will be cheering the team on towards the best they can possibly be.
We put a target on our backs with our 2 10win seasons, but as I feared couldn't handle the pressure of expectations AT ALL. Seems all we can do is play the underdog spot well. Let's see how that works this season

Thought the same from the first 5 minutes. Seemed like we had already accepted we had beaten them twice already and that was enough, even though it's not likely true. Butler still played tough. Our lack of bench contribution surprised me.
Miller is the most pissed off out of all of them, he is the one guy that if he could make a few hundred people disappear to make America great again...I think he would do it. Would be a lot of district judges at Guantanamo.
Mitch has to have a stellar replacement ready to sign to a contract with a lot of possible incentive boosts and with a huge buyout in place should another school want to hire him.
