Ezra Klein conversation with Gavin Newsom. People are pointing out that many told Klein years ago all those things would be failures. But liberals are so dishonest it is interesting to see one of them admit these things: (this podcast Newsom is trying to have seems always to be bad for him)
Ezra Klein: "The stimulus bill under Obama, that had 3 big headline projects for reinvestment .High speed rail, smart grid, a nation wide system of interoperable health records. 0 for 3"
Gavin Newsom: "I remember those days"
Klein: "At some point, we gotta be upset about this." (he laughs after saying this)
Democrats: 'Promises made, promises kleptocracy"
Newsom's long answer to this is as bizarre as his constant hand motions:
Ezra Klein: "Why is it easier to build homes in Texas than California?"
Gavin Newsom: "The supply demand imbalance: That supply demand imbalance is next level in California."
The people who cannot give you a straight answer, also cannot give you a simple solution.
