Of those 11 million, the vast majority are state employees. DOGE would have very little impact on changing those numbers. This is a state issue, not a federal one

It's happening fast so that they don't lose initiative. I am also sure that there is some meat hitting the floor with the fat.
The "State" isn't just idly sitting around. They are formulating plans to counter Trump's actions, and as everyone can see, there are no shortage of Judges willing to try and stop further progress.
Once initiative is lost everything becomes bogged down and the counter actions of the "State" come into play. Further efforts to trim the government will fail.
The cuts are also to reorganize these various delegated branches of government. I believe some of these positions will be be filled again once all desired cuts have been instituted.
Which is why the DoE is pointless to begin with. It doesn't do anything the states weren't already doing. It forced states and districts to do stuff to comply with DoE regs to get money when it didn't help educate a single person. If a state wants to waste it's education money then it will fail and people will move to a state with quality education. That's how it worked until Carter screwed it up going out the door.

This behavior is absolutely bottom-barrel type shit. Destroying someones proeprty because of political viewpoints, when you can't even approach them face to face? You're lower then scum in my book, and the punishment by my hands will reflect that.
An angry individual approaching someone's kid in a threatening manner is a good way for them to get two bullets to the chest and one to the head. Pretty sure such things are justified under some state's Castle Doctrine. That is how this whole thing is going to end sooner rather than later if these people do not stop.
I'll tell yeah, that's next. And its going to be interesting to see what sort of punishment they get. There's a lot of lawyers, and society in general, who will argue what they were experiencing was a hate crime/terrorist activity. And people will flock to that persons defense.

Watched/listened to an old Tonight Show clip with Johnny Carson and Marty Feldman while I was working on a project. Something I heard stood out to me and I thought I'd post it here to see what yall thought.
Feldman mentions that he and Mel Brooks share a common ancestral home of Kiev, Ukraine. Neither were directly from there, but their grandparents and/or great grandparents were. Just found that interesting. Wondered how many more Hollywood folks of their age had Ukrainian ancestry, so I googled....

It's the federal government that provides the majority of student loans, not the state. I think that's a pretty big deal. It also ensured students with disabilities have equal opportunities in education. Before that, many states didn't allow certain kids into a public school or completely segregated them. And spare me the part about if schools in states fail, people will move out... While some have the means and the "want" to do move out, most don't or won't. If that was the case, most would be moving out of southern states.

It’s quite possible, after Hitler Trump’s term Hitler Vance or a yet to be named Hitler takes over the executive branch. That could be 8-12+ straight years of Hitlers.

The move to end the sanctuary city stuff is to do raids of illegal immigrants in those areas until the policy changes. What I want is that anyone who gets arrested is sent to ICE. If you're an illegal immigrant you should be on thin ice as it is, so you as much jaywalk and you should be deported.
