I’ll never understand how such dumb people somehow have the capacity to convince people to vote for them. Then again, if you are a good person with real smarts you generally want nothing to do with politics. It’s a select few who fit that category and they are almost always Republican.
Because the gun charges came before his arrest for J6. Plus, the pardon only covered the events at the capitol only. It wasn't a blanket pardon.
I haven't been able to determine if the gun charges were separate from his initial conviction for J6 or not. Either way, if he was convicted he should have played it safe. Keeping weapons as a felon is breaking the law which is breaking his parole.
