Very interesting conversation about the Trump Gold Card for immigrants willing to pay $5 million for it:
-They would be vetted of course

That spending looks almost like a perfect slope of 1*, which just points out the ridiculousness of education spending.
*meaning that for each increment of time (x axis) spending (y axis) increased in kind. Even by government standards, that level of funding increase is absurd. Even more so when you consider that what it was supposed to AID maintained a slope of ZERO. LOL
Only in the public sector can budget increases be so ridiculously "unbound" by the results. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Impeachment and conviction is the only recourse. I was only arguing that, IMO, defying a district judge probably is not Unconstitutional, but defying SCOTUS is.
I think you and I are essentially in agreement. And I said earlier, that Congress could put a stop to all of this right now, on their own. When I said that impeachment is the only recourse against a President, it was just an academic statement, not that I thought it would happen.

They won some battles, but that was mostly due to our Generals being Revolutionary War officers, that were over the hill, spineless drunks, by the time 1812 rolled around. And only 1 battle involved mostly Canadian forces/natives (River Raisin IIRC)
Once Brock and Tecumseh were killed, it was about all she wrote for Canada. Henry Clay, William Henry Harrison, and James Madison were so stupid that they thought Canada would WELCOME US occupation. But Canada definitely didn't win the War of 1812. Everything essentially went back to the way it was. LOL

We didn’t fight Canada. Canada did not exist until 1867. We fought the British.
I just found this: it should make you happy.
Even w/o securing Canada, the US ultimately won, because the Battle of New Orleans put a stop to all the foreign meddling down there which opened up vast swaths of the West for expansion, AND, even more importantly, it got the US citizenry behind forming a professional Army, and Navy, and we all know how it went after that.
(Hoping for Lockheed Martin... although it'll probably come down to investment interests LOL

These rulings by the judges have nothing to do with liberal vs conservative.
In fact, most of these rulings are conservative rulings based intirely on the US Constitution.
I'm old enough to remember a Republican Party that adhered to the Constitution and saw Russia as the malevolent force in the world that it is.
What's insane now is that what your party calls conservative is actually much more aligned with radical or anarchist.
