He's exactly right about the funding bill/CR. They need to DO the $%@^#!@ JOB we elected them to do instead of @%#^!%# around. As it stands right now, they're using DOGE as a distraction, knowing that what DOGE appears to be doing will never bear any fruit while they pass these jacked up funding bills.
EVERYONE with an X account needs to reply back at Trump and every RINO/CINO to break get BACK TO WORK, break up this bill, and get back to the platform they used to get and keep their positions as SERVANTS OF THE PEOPLE.
He's absolutely wrong that 8% is too big of a reduction in spending, though. We need in the neighborhood of a 50% reduction immediately and to IMMEDIATELY INCLUDE IN THE FUNDING BILL the DEfunding of USAID and the WASTE AND FRAUD that DOGE has uncovered elsewhere.

What is worrisome to me is that banks, for example, do not typically raise credit limits on credit cards when holders are only making interest payments. Regardless of which party is in office, failure to reduce the deficit and/or national debt is a dereliction of duty. We, as citizens, are conscious of our debt and strive to limit / reduce it. Elected leaders should do the same. THEY ALL KNOW THIS !!!

Trump lost his funding battle with the courts because the judge ruled that the funding had to be paid to USAID because .gov owed the money to contractors for work already done. There wasn't much that could be done about it. Now tptb have the funding to pay these asshats for a while longer.
Many of these folks are paid contractors backed up by the usual true believer volunteers. The money will run out, and they will dwindle away.

That money was just secondary to backing off. It should've been full steam ahead while they were reeling. Even without that money, they were already reforming using their overseas ngos.
Instead of shifting to other organizations, they should've uncovered and publicized everything while tracking every penny to the end recipient.
I really think they were shocked at what they uncovered and decided they couldn't move on all this at once. There were some very beneficial things they did (notice i didn't say pro USA, because it was really just pro cia) that were intertwined with the corruption, and they thought there would be time to parse it out. Instead the shadow government roared back and it will be a battle.
