Should we cater to everyone's mental illness under threat of lawsuit?

Should a doctor be sued for telling an alcoholic to stop drinking? A fat woman to stop binging? A bulimic to stop tickling her uvula? Is he "mean spirited" for telling someone to change their lifestyle in the name of health and science?

Is it mean spirited to tell a man he can't get pregnant? No, we should just LIE to people because muh feewings.

Do I need to draw you a chart?

Just because you cut something off doesn't change your chromosomes.

You Democrats are the most anti-science party in world history.

This just shows how sad it is that Republicans blame everything on the MSM. Fox the highest rated get 1.4million viewers a day. Thats a STAGGERING .4% of the population. Just show how little people watch or give a shit about politics and news. and at least 30% of those numbers is just TV's turned on at businesses that nobody is watching.
Fast-forward 6 years later.

Just dark hearted, mean spirited and rude.
I get the trans sports thing ... I get not wanting to get shit for accidentally calling someone by the wrong pronoun.
But to willfully refuse to call someone by a name that matches their sexual identification is just BS.
I say good on the committee chairman for not indulging Mr McBride’s mental illness. More of this please.

Mixed feelings on Massie. On one hand, respect his anti-deficit stance and consistent fiscal record voting against CR’s, even with some grandstanding.

Also read today (correct me if wrong) he’s against making the Trump tax cuts permanent when they expire at the end of the year? That will absolutely be harmful to small businesses and cause most of us to pay higher taxes. If he continues this misguided stance, he may very well attract a well-funded primary challenger.

No excuses from me for any violence towards Teslas.
Boycotts are another matter.
Tough to sell a world wide product when everyone in the world but half the US hates your guts.
And the half of the US that doesn't hate you....hates the product you're selling.
Not a good look for a billionaire to be taking food/medicine from babies and firing injured military vets.

Been posting on this board since 4/12/02, so almost 23 years. Only ever had one username.
We often disagree bbis, but these Club MAGA folks that keep accusing some of the others of posting under multiple names really take the cake. Way off the deep end. It comes with their conspiracy territory I suppose. How many different names have been accused of being John the Canuck? Ten? LOL.

Your analogies are idiotic.
A closer analogy would be if your name is Phineus and you ask nicely to be called Finn.
Then I continue to call you Phineus even after I nicely ask for you to call me Finn. Your response is..... That's not your legal name and I'm not gonna call you a name that doesn't match your legal name.
It's called being a di**.
"Mister" is not his legal name, so he was correct in referencing him in such fashion. There's no upside in feeding into someone's lunacy/fantasy. If you're a male pretending to be a female, you're still a male pretending to be a female, and you need to seek professional help for your mental problem. I too would call him Mister because that's what he is, a male.

There are now three parties in Congress: Pubs, Dims, & Massie.

I read where cutting half the jobs in the Dept of Ed is costing 1300 people their jobs. I understand that there are 2.4M Fed "workers" excluding the military. So how can half of one dept. be just 1300? makes zero sense to me.

They had usaid destroyed and scattered. Instead of pressing on they spread out and went to other agencies. That let usaid regroup in Europe and then get their lawfare back on. They won that which turned on the money spigot again which turned into renta riots and a massive ddos attack on x.

They should've kept the heat on, tracked every penny to the end and prosecuted everyone. They didn't.

Instead the entire lot just voted to fund all the same nonsense again. Yes, the exact same stuff they just outed will now be funded again and only one or two people questioned why.

Its a mistake. Like i said, there can still be victory but now it will be way harder than if they just finished off usaid. Now all their usual tactics can delay everything so maximum pain hits before midterms. That was their goal and it just got the cash fuel they wanted.

I really think there were so many entanglements they pulled back, but they should've burned it all down.
Kinda disappointing.

And now theyre just destroying all their evidence. Why was there not an army of loyal people sent in to secure this stuff while the building was effectively empty?

Trump 1.0 made 2 egregious errors. First was not firing everyone, like every president does. Second was not standing up to fauci and birx.

This is the first egregious error of trump 2.0. its going to be very costly.
Even if it's true they are shredding and burning documents...the stuff still must be on government computers somewhere I would imagine.

When doge first hit usaid it was so much so fast they were in complete disarray. It took them a week to even get coordinated enough to file something. Usually that took minutes. So their planning head was cut off.

In that week, doge geniuses should've tracked where all that money was going and shut down every ngo associated with usaid. Definitely could've done it.

Had they done it, they would've had nowhere to go for cover and they would've been so damaged it would've taken them months to recover. By then they could've been stamped out.

Instead they moved on to the irs and ssa while usaid regrouped and then got their funding back. Now they will have funding another year. Trump can't undo that because its the same issue he just lost on.
What’s this about USAID getting their funding back. I thought it was only a couple billion that was earmarked to pay for some services that had already been rendered.

I worked a night shift job. Hated some parts of it but liked other parts of it. Sleeping when it's bright outside is difficult for me so I didn't sleep enough most days. Good thing is that you have pretty much all day (after you wake up) to do whatever you want til you have to worry about getting ready for work. But I would probably never work a night shift ever again.
