I am truly a Trump supporter, but I do not blindly follow or support any human being no matter what, whether they are a politician or a Pastor. None of us are perfect. It is a dangerous thing when a person in a position of authority is never questioned. That is when power can corrupt.

I once worked at a particular chemical plant, and one of the control rooms had a revered practice of "coning" people. Basically if you came into the control room and started talking to the board operator, looking at the control panel graphics etc., another operator would sneak up behind you and put a conical paper cup on your hard hat. You would then back out into the plant and everybody would know you had been "coned".

They actually got one of the higher-level managers at the plant one time. He walked all the way back to the front office before he realized what was done to him.

After about the second time, you learned to either take off your hard hat when you came into the control room or least run your hand over your hard hat before leaving the control room.

It was comical at the FS. Everybody walking around slapping their own backs and checking their heels all day.

Most of this is nonsense. The majority of this was going to get derailed or delayed in court. SCOTUS was happening regardless of what the game plan was. Your last two paragraphs are a defeatist attitude.

They had usaid destroyed and scattered. Instead of pressing on they spread out and went to other agencies. That let usaid regroup in Europe and then get their lawfare back on. They won that which turned on the money spigot again which turned into renta riots and a massive ddos attack on x.

They should've kept the heat on, tracked every penny to the end and prosecuted everyone. They didn't.

Instead the entire lot just voted to fund all the same nonsense again. Yes, the exact same stuff they just outed will now be funded again and only one or two people questioned why.

Slight disagreement on the timeline here. They crushed USAID but then a judge got in the way. While they were waiting on the judge they hit other agencies knowing the clock was ticking on other judges getting involved.

You could argue that Trump should have IGNORED the judges but that's another argument for another day.
