I've been to quite a few major cities lately. Was pleasantly surprised how they seemed to have cleaned up Chicago (at least the Miracle Mile part). Atlanta, however, they basically have given up on downtown. Most companies are just smartly moving north.

Regarding the pedophile problem in schools, there are like 3.2M teachers in the US. So if 165 have been arrested this year that means only 0.005% of teachers were arrested for this. That's like 1 in 20,000. Obviously 0 is what you want, but I'm not sure 1 in 20,000 represents a massive pedo crisis.
