I'm convinced guys like sam are mods trying to bait us into getting ourselves banned. That's why I have them all on ignore. Their rhetoric is incendiary to the point of enraging, and you can't react to it.
You're the Master of Baiting..... Not me.
Btw....
Your DOGE Douche needs to start spending more time on his dying Tesla business and exploding rocket company instead of trashing our government.

My buddy used to tell me; man, you need to get you a Dobbs and wear it ace/deuce. I knew Dobbs was a hat brand, but WTF is ace/deuce?

When I was younger my buddy used to tell me, "Man, you need a woman." I'd proceed to go out and meet someone of the female persuasion and all was good in "da" hood. Now you Mugs are telling your buddies they need a device of some sort.....

Dayum, I am sure glad I "ain't" growing up now.

Speaking of eggs....I've been thinking of getting some chicks and a coop. I've got plenty of acreage and place(s) to put it.....but I know nothing about doing it. Is it time consuming? In the dead of Winter do you have to go out everyday to feed/water (I imagine).
About the time I'd do it the price of a dozen at Krogers would be back at 99 cents. But I would do it for other reasons...could be fun, eggs would be fresh, etc.
The only interaction I've ever had with chickens was...I can remember....be at an uncle/aunt's farm in S. Ky and all us kids were running around out by the barn trying to catch chickens. Aunt was planning a big dinner of fried chicken.
Wife’s friend had some hens for themselves and sold some to local folks. Feed got too expensive so gave it up after a number of years doing it

You're a friend of mine, so I'm going to let this go with a warning, but tighten it up VH...

Also, surely to GOD Hunter didn't actually believe that people bought his art because it was GOOD. I mean, there is no way.
He was trying to get insurance to pay him millions for his unsold paintings. Weird thing is that he was selling the originals for like $250K and reprints for $50K. LOL

White people in South Africa have been given their warning. If they choose to stay, what is coming is their own fault.

Seizing property is always a milepost on the road to violence.

I don't want us sending a bag of rice there when what is about to happen happens. we all know once they run out the Boer that a famine will not be far behind. Like 5 countries in Africa have done this and the exact same thing happens each time.

Run out the capital and operational knowledge and surprise surprise

Farmy - it doesn't take a USDA employee to kill chickens. Hell, ANYONE can do THAT.

( I doubt it was inspectors that were let go, because they pretty much pay for their own salaries via the fees that stockyards etc. have to pay to get them out there. That's not a free service)
What's worse is that after they knew the chickens got infected because some died... the ones still alive had immunity but they killed them anyway. So their chickens never gain natural immunity. Goes against every bit of science I've ever seen.

oh brother there is more then enough to critizice for.

The shit show roll out of DOGE
The shit show roll out of department reductions (fired, come back!, take this pay out, oops you can't)
The gutting of anti corruption policies and AGs in the government
The pursuit of diminishing judicial and legislative branches of the govt. NONODY WANTS A KING
The attacks on our allies, again and again and again.
The abandoning of soft power in foreign policy.
The shit show roll out of tariffs, on off, on off, on off, but not for you, you gave me inauguration money.

Trump locked the adults out of the room this go around and its showing every day.
Please keep this up and make sure you let people know you're a democrat. Polls show that people generally agree with what DOGE and Trump are doing. Even people who don't like Trump agree with DOGE stuff. It's not even like 51% to 49%... it's like 70/30 and 80/20... LOL Please keep going hard.

I thought elon was only doing things, and all rich ppl for that matter, to enrich themselves?

We not doing that now? Incredible watching you guys destroy your own narratives

lol.
The USDA slaughtered tons of chickens to try to mitigate the spread of bird flu.
Its what happens every time.
It's what Trumps USDA does when flocks get infected.

I'm trying hard to not use the jerk language some of yall love to use.
But where ever you're reading information on this, this take, it's dangerously wrong and just counter programming to try and deflect public concern off Trump.

Yea dude... We're the ones getting bad info. You act like none of us have chickens and didn't go through the health dept telling farmers to kill their flocks and we just ignored them.... now our flocks have natural immunity just like most animals on Earth for millions of years. It's like you think nothing lived before Bill Gates started giving them clot shots. LOL

People are soooo agreeing that Trump told Elon to stop firing people….

reads exactly like a shit poster on Twitter acting like they know how disease control works in herds.

USDA just ruining farmers lively hoods for the lulz.

One reason you cull is it lets you get the house full again after decontamination quicker.

If you let it run its course for couple weeks, you still have to isolate those birds from other birds, you can’t come back in and fill it up with newer younger birds along side the older ones.

The policy isn’t a Biden one, it’s the global poultry health standards.

The need is a breakthrough on a bird flu vaccination for the egg laying flock.
Especially since we’re about to have chickens in backyards throughout suburban America adding another incubator stock for annoying as bird flu.

there's a big difference between trade imbalance and tariffs charges.

In 2024 the population of Canada was estimated to be 40,784,365 while the population of the United States was estimated to 339,268,209 more than eight times larger than Canada.

The United States GDP was $24.8 trillion in 2021. The United States has the largest economy globally and Canada ranks 9th at US$2.015 trillion.

There will always be a trade imbalance.
Milk in the US is $4.02/gal. Milk in Canada is $6.25/gal.... Why do you think milk is higher right across the border?

Yes, Canada does impose tariffs on milk imported from the United States, but the system is more nuanced than a flat tariff rate across all imports. Canada uses a supply management system for dairy, which includes Tariff Rate Quotas (TRQs) under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), effective since July 1, 2020. Here’s how it works:
  • Within Quota: The USMCA grants the U.S. specific TRQ volumes for dairy products, including fluid milk, where imports up to an agreed amount enter Canada duty-free or at very low tariffs (e.g., 7.5% for milk within quota). For example, the U.S. has access to 50,000 metric tons of fluid milk by year six of the agreement, growing 1% annually for 13 years.
  • Over Quota: Any milk imports exceeding these TRQ volumes face significantly higher tariffs. For liquid milk, the over-quota tariff is 241%, though it can vary by product (e.g., up to 270% for some dairy powders or 298% for butter). These high rates effectively deter imports beyond the quota, protecting Canada’s domestic dairy industry.
In practice, most U.S. milk exports to Canada stay within the TRQ limits and avoid these tariffs. In 2024, the U.S. exported about $578 million in dairy products to Canada, including $55.61 million in fresh milk, largely tariff-free under the quota. However, the high over-quota tariffs remain a point of contention, with some U.S. stakeholders arguing they limit market access despite the USMCA concessions.

You sound like someone who knows nothing about raising livestock and probably not much else either. You read the pedo filled BlueSky site like it's a credible source while downplaying X because accurate info hurts your argument. LOL.

If the top 1% fully paid their current tax rate yearly, it would be an additional 1 trillion dollars revenue.
news flash they don't
-per the irs commissioner testifying to congress
No it wouldn't. If you tax people that much then much of their net worth disappears each year and they end up paying less and less each year... or just leaving the country like what happened to France when they went to 75% tax rate.

Hollande briefly pushed the top rate higher with a 75% "supertax" on income over €1 million, effective for 2013 and 2014 tax years (Law No. 2012-1509, December 29, 2012). It wasn’t a marginal rate in the traditional sense—it applied only to that excess income—but evasion (e.g., wealthy citizens like Gérard Depardieu fleeing to Russia) and low revenue (€420 million over two years) led to its repeal in 2015. Post-75%, the top rate reverted to the 49% structure, which evolved into the 55.4% effective rate by 2025.

It's no wonder they fired all the IRS agents going after the rich, just another WEALTHFARE example.

Tax cheats cost the U.S. $1 trillion per year, I.R.S. chief says.

Charles Rettig, the I.R.S. commissioner, attributed the growing tax gap to the rise of the cryptocurrency and the abuse of pass-through provisions in the tax code by companies.

The United States is losing $1 trillion in unpaid taxes every year, Charles Rettig, the Internal Revenue Service commissioner, estimated on Tuesday, arguing that the agency lacks the resources to catch tax cheats.
The so-called tax gap has surged in the last decade. The last official estimate from the I.R.S. was that an average of $441 billion per year went unpaid from 2011 to 2013. Most of the unpaid taxes are the result of evasion by the wealthy and large corporations, Mr. Rettig said.
“We do get outgunned,” he said during a Senate Finance Committee hearing on the coming tax season.
Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon, the Democratic chairman of the committee, called the $1 trillion tax gap a “jaw-dropping figure.”
“The fact is that nurses and firefighters have to pay with every paycheck and so many highfliers can get off,” Mr. Wyden said.

Mr. Rettig attributed the growing tax gap to the rise of the $2 trillion cryptocurrency sector, which remains lightly regulated and has been an avenue for tax avoidance. He also pointed to foreign-source income and the abuse of pass-through provisions in the tax code by companies.
The size of the I.R.S.’s enforcement division has declined sharply in recent years, Mr. Rettig said, with its ranks falling by 17,000 over the last decade.
The spending proposal that the Biden administration released last week asked for a 10.4 percent increase above current funding levels for the tax collection agency, to $13.2 billion. The additional money would go toward increasing oversight of tax returns of high-income individuals and companies and improving customer service at the I.R.S.
They weren't going after the rich exclusively. The percent of wealthy audits went up but the total number of audits went up more. The increase in audits hit the middle class hardest. The reason they don't go after billionaires is because they CAN afford lawyers. So they pick on middle class people because they know they'll just pay the $500 BS charge instead of fighting it.

Act blue is dismantling itself before doge gets around to checking into it and finds its all washed usaid money.

Who was it that posted something about Biden not letting Elon go get the astronauts.
Thank God!!
Good thing Trumpy canceled that FAA safety probe that was open against spacex.

Probably right, wish they would allocate the resources to battle the white collars that play the games while the blue collar pay their lick and get back to work.
