Though it may hurt me personally, I think Trump is doing what needs to be done with tariffs (and many other things). My issue is with the people who over the years have let things get so far out of hand. Because of slave labor imports, most of the manufacturers like me went out of business, so all the domestic suppliers in my industry went out of business. You can't buy the raw goods here and now you will have to pay a tariff to buy it elsewhere. I am 77 and just piddle with it these days to keep busy, but the industry itself is dead.
