It's my understanding that they did indeed have a verbal agreement before he got there, but then Zelsnskyy decided to bait and switch, along with acting like a douche and grandstanding for the cameras.
Z hates Trump, and I believe that he thought he could throw some weight around and the American people would side with him.
I can sort of understand why he felt that way, considering Biden essentially took it up the ass from him repeatedly (there might have been exigent circumstances that accounted for Bidens wan attitude/laying back and taking it) and so he was overconfident.
That was a grave error, as he quickly found out.

"Ukraine can win but if not putin will overtake Europe." Do you not see the problem with this statement. Ukraine is more powerful than all of Europe?
Russia is a mid power, they have an outdated and uncoordinated military. They simply have numbers on Ukraine, who spent all their time being a corrupt oligarchy themselves.
And ppl forget, there's nothing stopping China from doing the same thing to Russia in its eastern provinces.

This shows you EXACTLY WHY and WHO made this conflict when they couldve negotiated and kept it from getting that far (had they really desired it, which they didn't). Could you imagine this imbecile sitting down at a table with Putin.

The minerals deal provides protection for Ukraine...this isnt hard to understand. I know many of you want this war to last 50 years, or if Zelensky came in and demanded we nuke Russia you all would be mad if we said no. Some of you are stuck in a binary that not just doing whatever Ukraine wants automatically means capitulating to Russia. But a clown comes in wearing sweat pants, demands money, and waits to put on a show for the camera. Zelensky is in over his head.
It's time for diplomacy. Ukraine cannot win this war.

Z wants the US to send our troops over to protect Ukraine (that is his security guarantee) while he and his cronies continue to steal billions from us while Europe talks a big game and as usual does minimal to help. Trump isn’t having any of it. All these libs freaking out should be first in line and send their kids over there if they love Ukraine that much.

I was thinking the other day of how active...in the news Vance is. And that only comes about due to Trump. Never thought I would see where Trump turns things over.....Elon answering questions in the Oval, Vance with major speeches in Europe while basically taking down Zelensky in the Oval.....all while Trump sits there calm and letting it happen. Looking back....it seemed like Pence did nothing.
