That statement was actually a pretty diplomatic statement as opposed to some of the zingers he tends to comes off with after something like that.

Honestly, yeah, I don’t want Putin winning shit. He’s fighting for his legacy and wants to reunite the Soviet Union. Why do people not think he’ll go further?

They're separate issues, but you can't let Zelensky basically take a dump in the White House and not give him a spanking.

(also, I completely forgot about "what if a bomb dropped on your head?" 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I say it a lot, but GAWD, I'm gonna miss Trump when he's gone. LOL He's priceless.

this entire thing went off the rails because Zelensky made the catastrophically offensive move of pointing out the reality that Putin broke a ceasefire in 2015 and that when Vance talks about diplomacy, he can’t explain how Putin is a trustworthy partner.

Zelensky simply spoke the truth, which Vance deemed totally unacceptable and offensive because he was trying to “litigate” the issue in front of the press. And then it unraveled from there.
Just wild.

Here is a recap of the Ukraine situation, for those choosing to reject propaganda and continue seeking truth:

December 1994, Ukraine agrees to give up its nuclear arsenal in return for security guarantees from the US, UK, France, China and Russia.

February 2014, Russia invades and subsequently annexes Crimea, President Obama does next to nothing. War through weakness.

July 2019, Trump admin withholds $250 million in military aid to Ukraine to apply pressure to investigate alleged corruption by Hunter and Joe Biden.

February 2022, Russia invades a weakened Ukraine, world expects Zelenskyy to flee and Kyiv to fall within days. Ukrainians fight bravely for 3+ years, inflict hundreds of thousands of casualties on Russian army, weaken Putin politically.

U.S. has sent ~$70 billion in outdated military equipment to Ukraine since start of war, providing opportunity for U.S. military to modernize its weaponry. We’ve sent an additional $30+ billion in budget support, $75 billion in ancillary appropriations related to war.

~50,000 Ukrainians have died defending their homeland, protecting U.S. and Western interests in the process. Meanwhile, the U.S. President and V.P. are calling democratically-elected Zelenskyy a dictator and berating him in Oval Office in pursuit of a financial payoff.

The U.S. should be thanking Ukrainians, who have fought for our common interests with only modest financial support from a country with a ~$30 trillion GDP. America can and will reclaim its backbone again soon, with better policy and messaging from common sense moderates.

Well, that is certainly a unique interpretation of what happened, I'll give you that.

There was a time when Americans were outraged that foreign diplomats demanded a bribe to conduct negotiations. To the point that some wanted war.

Now, a foreign leader sits in our capital and essentially demands our money with NO consideration of negotiating an end to his own war.

And people take HIS side!

That’s what stupidity looks like, friends.

Didn’t something else happen in 2014? You gonna pretend you don’t know what it was or who caused it?

The rose revolution where the conspiracy theorists say the US put their guy in poer, but the people ignored the guy being pushed by the west and elected the one they wanted.
Russia freaks out from being shoved out by the people and does what they normally do in the face of emerging democracy. Uses force.

Z set the disrespectful tone from jump street by rolling up to the WH wearing his sleep clothes, and Trump immediately called him on it. My guess is that that got under Z's skin and he was looking for any opportunity to flex his "beer muscles"

The guy acted like a spoiled douche and hopefully he'll be removed from office so that the adults can begin talks.

What ppl like the left and @sambowieshin don't have the foresight to see, is signing a mineral and earth deal IS protection for Ukraine. It ties the US to Ukraine economically and politically.

Let me make it simple for them. If we are there extracting and doing it in a way so that its profitable, guess what, we aren't going to
Let those assets be interfered with. Hence, protection

Complete dumbassery by Zelensky

It really is, but again, it's not what NATO, the DS, and globalists want. They want NATO membership for Ukraine. They want to retain the regions that declared independence. They want to trap the roughly 50% ethnic Russian population of the 5 regions (including Crimea) under a NATO banner as virtual hostages, IF AND ONLY IF they can't have outright war.

This is what happens when you hire and actor and baby him for over 4 years. He was not only out of his element, he completely fkd his handlers over by making the negotiations even worse. This is going to cost them A BUNCH.

The only option for the DS, oligarchs, and western globalists is to bring in a true military aggressor to the role. Azov Battalion level bad guy would work. I don't think they come out of this well either way, except then they would get their war and force our hand a bit, (even if it doesn't work). The fascist left is not about reconciliation and accountability. They are about doubling down and lying until the needle is in their arm.

You have to watch the entire video to understand how disrespectful Zelensky was, and how he was the one who sent it off the rails.

I will do that later. I just can't imagine any situation where it's OK for a reporter to take this approach. It's just not acceptable. Having worked in that field, albeit briefly, I just don't get it. Not even Jerry Tipton stooped to that level.

But I will watch the whole thing and see. Thank you

That post was just talking about the meeting in general. I had the same thoughts on that reporter.

While I’m on board with everything Trump and Vance did and said, the reporter who asked him about wearing a suit is a clown. Completely inappropriate in that situation.
