I’m reading this book about the juicy stuff during the Patriots dynasty and I completely forgot about Andy Reid’s son drunk driving and crashing and hurting people which included two kids and causing brain damage to another woman.

A lot of credibility will be lost unless they release something substantial.
I don't know if she should resign or not because it's early and she may redeem herself. But yeah this was not a good look to say the least.
She would have been better off just releasing the letter. She should never have said what she said on Watters if she knew what she had wasn't anything new. She could have just said there's a delay because of the FBI.
right up front I need to say that the Epstein stuff is so far down my list of issues that I'm concerned about that it's essentially buried on the back page, so I haven't paid even a moments attention to it. So IOW, I'm not particularly informed on today's happenings. Just skimming the headlines though it seems like she thought she was going to get the entirety of the files/evidence, when in fact, she did not.

People are pissed at the AG because she said she had the files on her desk and that they would come today. And then nothing new got released and she released a letter saying she didn't have everything.
She either lied about having everything or didn't know she didn't have everything somehow. It's a bad look either way.
Hyping it up on Jesse Watters last night and parading social influencers around today didn't help the cause either.

That's fair I guess. But that would lead me to believe she's irretrievably stupid, if she KNEW there was nothing else coming and pumped it up anyway. I think it's probably a safer assumption that she was played somehow (which, even IF true, still isn't a good look)

I agree, I'm still miffed about it, lol, but I agree.
Something may have occurred, that we aren't privy to, that would have caused it to blow up at 0500 today for all we know.

She has only been AG for what...2 or 3 weeks now. I agree that some are probably being a bit over the top telling her to resign and stuff. She should have just told the truth to begin with though. Just say you'll release them when you have everything instead of the files are on your desk. She kinda stepped on a rake today after saying that.

If true, wouldn't surprise me if this was the plan all along, make a deal to get the hostages (many complained Israel gave them back too many terrorists/prisoners in the exchange), Israel gets some hostages back but knows Hamas won't fully live up to the deal...when that happens, Israel goes back in...they knew they were going to end up killing the terrorists they gave back in the exchange.
