This isn’t a socialist supported pipeline, the US government isn’t paying for the expansion.
Businesses are paying for it now if it’s to go forward. And companies don’t make billion dollar investments when there is no ROI on the horizon.
The fact is, Republicans’ 2017 tax reform law did exactly what was promised: It lowered taxes for all income groups, provided the greatest benefits for middle-income households, and spurred economic growth that helped reduce poverty and improve prosperity.
The standard deduction almost doubled. This helped low and mid income taxpayers tremendously by removing taxable income from their higher tax rates.

The ultra wealthy don't pay income tax. They don't earn wages, they don't get tips while waiting tables, they don't work overtime, they don't collect social security.
I thought you said that Trumps tax cuts wouldn't pass. Those older cuts (renewed) included reductions in every tax bracket. So every federal tax payer got their taxes reduced. Further, this new cut exempts tips, overtime and social security from taxes. That is another big tax cut for the middle class. Billionaires don't work for tips or get paid overtime wages.

I had a student (I teach in a 97% minority middle school) say she hated Trump the other day b/c she thought he was a racist. I told her she would probably change her views by the time she started working and paying taxes. She agreed that she didn't like the idea of paying taxes. I told her she better find a way to like Trump then, because he's busy cutting taxes right now. She said - I KID YOU NOT - "Never mind, I'm fine with paying taxes, I just hate Trump." These are the great minds of our future right there.

Reality is, if you want more tax revenue, stop supporting your slave labor with "who will pick the fruit" if there are no illegal immigrants to pay under the table, abs deadbeat Americans can get off their ass and work and employerers will be forced to pay better wages.

You know, if we all starve to death because we can't produce our own food without slave labor from another country, then we deserve it. Something tells me we will figure it out though.

He first came in posing as a McCain conservative or something like that and that he argues both sides. No, all of his posted attacks have been against Trump and the right. He has gone on ignore because he started posting fake news and misinformation with back-to-back-to-back-to-back, etc... posts from left leaning sites or people. He reminds me of Platnidumb, Jameslie, or the Sams in his line of postings. These posters would saturate this thread with posts of lies and disinformation and when called on them, would just move on to the next load of fake news or information.
Why does the left want to tax everything. We are one of the most taxed countries in the world. Now, the lefties here will disagree with this, but all they have to do (the few who actually work) is take a month of receipts from everything they spend money on (bills, food, gas, etc...) and they would see we are taxed at a rate of about 50%. Me and my wife did that a couple of times and came out around the 50% rate.
