Anyone else reading articles about the significant uptick in infectious diseases (TB and measles, for two)? TB cases in the US (which, for a long time were very low) have increased each year since 2020 and the number in 2023 was the most since 2013. Now there is a measles outbreak in south TX. Seems like there's at least a correlation between these events and open borders although, to my knowledge, there hasn't been any proof that there's causation. But, logic says when you don't vet or screen multiple millions of people crossing your border from third world countries there's a likelihood of them bringing in diseases that were mostly eradicated in the US. Just another 'immigration dividend' perhaps? Thanks, Joe.

Im sure they investigated him lol. His starlink gave people unrestricted Internet in places our shadow government didn't want people to have it. What a crime.

Also its pretty clear that anyone on the opposite side of usaid is probably the good guys.
Starlink transformed the world -- period.

Just got a call from my ex-wife's third cousin twice removed who lives next door to a former friend who went to college with my minister's nephew. Tears were flowing and I am terribly upset. Heard that CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS are all trying to get up close and personal interviews. This type of thing shouldn't happen in the corporate world. Oh the humanity.....
Trump's America. Just like last time the fool was running the country. Economic and political disaster.
Trump sucks

There's no denying that the US needs a bit of a reset. And there's nothing about what Trump is doing or did that's going to stop it. I just don't see a soft landing. We're going to need some sort of recession.. companies and government can cut some of the bloat, home prices drop along with interest rates, and we can go from there. Almost like trimming the hedges.

The last price cut in housing, sent the RE market into the tank for 6-7 years from 2007-2014.

republicans were excited about until the mafia hit got called.
Then the tune changed, better step in line can't get out of line of the orange swamp.
So excited it failed. "cheeto man" was a private citizen at the time with no guarantee he would be elected, had no power to sway shit. The bill was awful, full of pork and nonsense. Would have still allowed millions to cross and would have lined eltes pockets. It was a shit bill that was not necessary in any way shape or form. Immigration Laws were already on the books and Biden overturned pretty much all of Trumps previous policies that worked. We've discussed this fact ad nauseum on here. What The administration is doing now is what is needed. Not some pork laden bill that strongly favors the Globalist position. The only Pubs that were in support of the bill were the RINO's .

Foreclosures and Short Sales began ramping up in 2006. This was caused by housing prices declining in conjunction with sub-prime loans resetting with rising interest rates.

As a working breadwinner of a young family that doesn’t follow politics that closely (i.e. the silent majority) I wanted to check on this thread to see any updates and it’s just people arguing and I can’t get any useful information (not surprisingly). But what I will say, and which the majority of Americans agree with me on, is that I like the thought behind DOGE and finally addressing government waste. But what I will also say, is that I don’t give a shit about it if it won’t save me money. If here in a couple years they uncover billions of wasted tax dollars but I see no reduction in taxes or benefit to me I am officially done with the bullshit that is politics. So hopefully we see a benefit to this work.

Thats exactly it. I would say another sock account, but this is probably the original since its a paid account. The other endless iterations were the socks.

Its always a dead giveaway especially when they play the "im legitimately curious" card. The hilarious part is - they think theyre so much smarter than us, that their lame story fools us.

For a while, all of the alts were paid accounts. You have to have a paid acct to post on the entire site. Why would someone pay to post on 100+ accounts? Who would have access to free paid accounts?

I brought that up and the newer ones are freebies.

I have him on ignore but have just seen his current name for the first time today ... Apparently ignore carries over with just a handle change

For a hot minute in 2023 he posted heavy in the pt. That's when I put that one on ignore.

Remember when there was a bi-partisan comprehensive immigration reform bill done by congress.
Then Orange man submarined it because he wanted to be able to run on immigration issues. (way to put America ahead of personal ambitions cheeto man)
Pepperidge farm remembers.
You mean the one that would’ve guaranteed close to 2 million illegals a year before any tighter controls were implemented ?

Speaking of lying, Let's circle back to that...
Or this....

Unfortunately that isn't how it works. Deflation is a real possibility in that scenario and that scares me worse than inflation because it leads to a snowball that destroys everything as it rolls down the hill.

Have you ever seen a significant lasting price drop in your lifetime? I can't say that I have and I've been through lots of recessions and recoveries. Prices always find a way to go up and up on the other side.

The sad truth is that we are going to have to go to a tightly controlled digital currency in order to correct the debt problem and restore value to currency. Won't be pleasant.

It's either that or go back onto the gold standard and I'm not sure that is realistic either unless someone is willing to massively slash government spending. Massively. Not just here and there. Think Greek austerity.

When that happens there are going to be revolts, and when that happens hard choices are going to be made. Imo, that will be more unpleasant.

Ive been on here since it came over from Kentucky sports report. I never paid a dime at any point. Was i just grandfatherered in?

Ask the democrats. They are the ones acting unhinged over merely looking at government waste.

I think they’re just trying to narrowly define money laundering.

It just depends where you view the theft happening.

On the one hand, keeping taxes high on the American people or plunging the country deeper into debt under the false pretenses that the money will be used to benefit the country could be viewed as the theft. Then sending that money through NGOs to spouses, friends or themselves would have been the laundering.

Alternatively, if you don’t view the tax step as the theft, I see where democrats would take issue with calling what they’re doing “money laundering”. Funneling money through their NGOs at that point is just stealing, not laundering.
