Can’t it be a combo of multiple factors? Did you read the article. An official said some of those cases are coming out of a private school. Private schools don’t require vaccinations. Additionally the article states that public school exemptions have been on the rise in recent years and are at 2.3%. Sorry but that is vac reluctance. . I will go out on a limb and say vaccination rates would be lower in a private school. Could some of the cases be attributed to immigrants? Absolutely, but in typical fashion you want to blame a problem entirely on immigration

However, the foreign military stationed on base had an elaborate dining facility. Complete and utter bullshit. BAS only goes so far and robbing it from the troops who depend on it is wrong on so many levels. Someone in my squadron before they left their tech school at Keesler AFB got screwed over royally. They had an issue charging the meals at the DFAC after his CAC card would get scanned. Once Finance on base caught the error, he had to pay the meals back and did not own up to the mistake which is unheard of. I was screwed on a travel voucher back in 2012 during a PCS. Absolutely ridiculous.
