What is listed is from 1965, before DEI was even a thing.

What I listed "prohibited discrimination in hiring and employment based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin."

Why would Trump consider something that's anti discriminatory as discrimination?

I'm seriously trying to understand.
You're not understanding what EO 11246 (the 1965 LBJ EO) did. The president can regulate federal government contractors in a way that he (the executive branch) cannot regulate private sector employers who are not government contractors.

The 1964 Civil Rights Act was passed by Congress and created Title VII which outlaws discrimination in employment with respect to all employers that employ 15 or more people.

The LBJ EO went a step further for federal government contracts and required that they jump through additional hoops, such as submitting affirmative action plans and being audited for their hiring practices. It was unnecessary regulation and was cumbersome.

Trump doing away with that EO is not making it easier to discriminate because the companies who were subject to t e LBJ EO are also subject to Title VII (and other antidiscrimination laws at the federal, state, and local level).

They stuck these guys out in the cold with no money and no ID, in the middle of a rural area with no way to get home. Mother effers.

Track ALL of the people involved. Find them and take their money and tie up their property, put them in prison, and give their money to the people they stranded, the people whose careers, businesses, and livelihoods they destroyed, and make their pensions or retirement pay for those they abused to live in their homes.

People need to know this sht is unacceptable.

The prison staff that did this need to be locked up with the inmates in the prisons in which they worked without bail until the people they abused are restored to their previous positions. The companies running the prisons and allowing these abuses to happen can pay to build the abused their new homes.

Trump is reportedly moving to cut U.S. troop presence in Europe by 20%, pulling 20,000 troops as part of a broader reassessment of Washington’s military commitments.

A European diplomatic source says Trump also wants European nations to contribute financially for the remaining forces, arguing that American taxpayers shouldn’t bear the full cost of deterrence.

This follows Trump’s 2020 decision to withdraw 12,000 troops from Germany, which Biden later reversed.

I said this earlier in this thread and I still feel the same way (unfortunately).

I think Trump really wants to open everything up, but I still think the powers that be in the Swamp simply won’t allow the truth to come out. Too many people have too much at stake, and at the end of the day the Swamp’s ultimate goal is to protect itself. I’ll be incredibly happy to be wrong on this, but I think in four years we will still have a lot of the same questions we have right now and that probably won’t be Trump’s fault.

Trump's recent events since the inauguration....signing EO's and holding a press conf at the same time, attending 3 balls and giving short speeches at each, and his interview with Hannity magnified his mental acuity and cognitive abilities to that of Biden, and even Kamala. I can't even begin to fathom how she would have given an impromptu press conference and not had word salad spill all over the podium. We all know Biden had pre-listed Q&A cards and who to call on in the few times he actually held a pc. Quite amazing.

Maybe Homan shouldn't go after these moronic Mayors and Governors. He should give them a medal for attracting all the criminals in just a few cities.

That would be an awesome presser ... have the Boston mayor with him and publicly thank her for bringing them all to one place. She'd get recalled lololol

Families won't have to beg every 24-48 hours for extensions for stays in hotels like Biden's FEMA was making them do, some were kicked out in the cold.

Biden and Harris could have done the same thing. They chose not to, because they did not want to help these Americans. Instead, they chose illegals and sham trials over these Americans.

And posters like simple sam supported Harris and indirectly supported putting these Americans literally out in the cold while letting criminal gangs take over apartment complexes.

You do not hate the left and the people that support them, aka simple sam, enough. Not nearly enough.

All you loons who think J6 was as bad as 9-11 ought to read here what you’ve enabled. If you have the guts to read it.

Absolutely no way anything other than the defendant's conduct should've been shown unless they were charged on conspiracy. If they insisted, then the other option would be to show every second of everything which we know they withheld.

Plus i guarantee they brought motions compelling disclosure of assets and that was denied.

Every single one of those prosecutions were a sham and amount to malicious prosecution and a deprivation of civil rights. Judges have basically blanket immunity and prosecutors have basically the same but at least prosecutors can have ethical repercussions.

They should kick the governors out of their mansions in these sanctuary states and use them to stage the ICEA deportations and holding. They can have them back when it's finished

They can if they push it. Each of these people took an oath to uphold the Constitution and they are openly subverting it. Desantis used their oaths to kick out a bunch of rogue politicians and prosecutors. It can and should be done.

Oh man ... that is terrible. We suspected it was going on, but now we'll know.

As I just posted ... you do not hate the people that did this, nor the people that support this nearly enough. Yes BB, my brother, I am using hate in the appropriate context.

Simple sam ... you should be ashamed of yourself for supporting the most corrupt admin in US history.

From the tweet:
"People need to see the inside of jail cells. This is so far beyond prosecutorial discretion. This is straight up political persecution. But the biggest problem here are the judges that rubber stamped all of it."

Simple sam and his cohorts ... you either support political persecution of your enemies (we know you do) or you support those that actually persecute their political enemies (which is worse). You are unAmerican and closer to a true Nazi than Elon could ever be.

Ron Johnson’s proposal to extend the TCJA with an early reconciliation bill to assure America a significant tax increase isn’t coming, coupled with a more substantive, thought out tax reform bill later in the year is an idea I can get behind.
The only problem with that is that five GOP congressman have said that they won't vote for any tax bill that doesn't include a significant SALT tax deduction increase. They said that just doubling it would be a non starter.

Simple sam ... you should be ashamed of yourself for supporting the most corrupt admin in US history.

-Forced injections of experimental drugs or lose your job (thankfully SCOTUS stopped it)
-Mass sex trafficking program of poor women and children from around the world, coupled with the importation of working and fighting age males
-Mass coerced social media censorship of opposing political viewpoints
-Imprisoning political opposition with sham trials
-Pardoning people who committed crimes on behalf of the administration
-Framing political opposition for treason after illegal spying
-Withholding federal aid from disaster victims in NC

That’s all indisputable, without getting into all the other stuff we know happened but don’t have proof positive evidence out in the open yet.

Hopefully this can give them cover at least. I would love to see a Venn diagram of voters/congressman who value the SALT deduction over everything else and people who understand AMT. I don’t know if those circles would overlap at all.

If we want to talk tax cuts for the rich, it’s the SALT deduction.

Edit: that assumes pre-TCJA SALT deduction would come with pre-TCJA AMT limits and exclusions.

warrior cat said, "Dems have worn shirts with hammer and sickle logo and antifa with nazi type symbols."

YOU said, "you're [sic] point? Both are bad and should be condemned."

The logical reaction to a lefty wanting to condemn something is the ban it. ergo ... leggo my eggo.

if you're going to be so thin-skinned go back to rafters. quit being a dam princess, karen.
I'm not think skinned at all. Y'all just take one thing and spin it to something else.

You can wear any shirt you want but those people should be called out

Condemn -"express complete disapproval of, typically in public"

How did Fauxcahontas get into Harvard?
Are you implying that women, LGBT or people of color cannot get into top institutions or positions without DEI initiatives?

I'm assuming Fauxcahontas is Warren, I don't think she went to Harvard, only worked there after getting her education elsewhere.

That's another thing I'm curious about is how Fox labels any minority in power as a DEI hire.

What's that about?

Y'all claim merit is important but if a minority got there through merit they're DEI.

I think the divorce rate is actually about 50%, at least that's the number that I've heard. However, first marriages are much less likely to fail than 2nd, 3rd, etc. Which makes sense, right? If you get divorced once, it would be logical that an individual would be more likely to get divorced another time. Or two. Or three.

First marriage divorce rates among gays, IIRC, is higher than straight couples, although I believe the overall rate is about the same.
The discussion was about relationships, not just marriages. How many people date several different people for a good while - a relationship imo - before settling on one?

"72% of divorces between same-sex couples in 2019 were between lesbian couples"
Also
"Around 44% of lesbian and 61% of bisexual women have experienced forms of rape and physical violence by an intimate partner as compared to 35% of straight women."
Thanks for the data. Doesn't impact what I said - which had nothing to due with same sex relationships.

Poilievre's reaction when the reporter says 'I'm a man' haha

REPORTER: If you become Canadian Prime Minister, will you recognize only 2 genders, like Trump did?

PIERRE POILIEVRE: Do you have any other genders you'd like to name?

REPORTER: Me personally? I'm just asking... do you agree?

POILIEVRE: I'm not aware of any other genders. Do you have any others you want me to consider?

REPORTER: Well, personally... I am a man. A cis-man. But people say they are gender-neutral, trans. Is that something you would recognize here in Canada?

POILIEVRE: I'm only aware of 2. If you come up with another list, you're welcome to do that. I'm aware of 2. As far as I'm concerned, we should have a government that just minds its own damn business, and leaves people alone.

That's a little sanity being heard from our northern neighbor...a bit different message than the last guy and his gay rainbow Islam socks:
