Him being confirmed with zero opposition really surprised me. I assumed he would get through, but never dreamed of zero votes against.
The feds know exactly how many assets were there. Cws and cis are all assigned an ID and put into a database. There are no off books assets for federal law enforcement. Now if cia had some people there, which is possible, they are probably off books.
So they can find out how many were there. They just don't want to because they want to answer "i don't know" when theyre hauled in to testify.
In a congressional hearing a pardoned witness cannot plead the 5th. On the state level they could in a trial or a deposition.

I thought it was pretty much accepted that he had a hand in Reagan's attempted assassination. He was probably still pissed about the debate debacle that made him Reagan's second, or maybe he knew Reagan's mind was going.
The other thing is that he was in Dallas on the day Kennedy was shot but no one can explain why he was there and he says the he can't remember a thing about that day. Of course he said was wasn't there until the FBI released a classified document that put him there. Weird.
That's all before you look into his father and how he managed to dodge getting charged for treason in an coup plot. The rebuttal to his involvement was that he was too busy doing business with the Nazis to have been involved with something so home grown. lol.
