With Musk owning X, and Zuckerberg claiming he found the light, how quickly will we see a move in courts to limiting Section 230 protections and then Congressional action to hold social media companies accountable for content posted by users (as opposed to being held accountable for promoting certain content while censoring other content like I always thought should have carried liability)?

Call me cynical....but censor free speech when Biden/Dem libs are in power where if you disagree with them you are cancelled.....but change everything toward free speech when Trump/Repubs are coming into power so people can rant and rave all things anti-Trump.
That bill by California to make tech companies pay media companies for reposts of news articles is one way to shut up social media and control the narrative. That bill will have worldwide implications. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.
The Meta execs left San Francisco a long time ago due to crime. Many other Meta employees work remotely. It's nice to see California take it in the pants as companies flee, but watching the blue disease spread out around the country is not a good thing. A purple Texas does not help the union at all.
