Find yourself a chart showing the rise of inflation. Note what happens in 2021.
How does US inflation rates affect other countries. By the metrics given, Jerome Powell navigated us to a 2.1% rate for this quarter. Again, does not include household items, but under the threshold the US government tracks inflation, we are in better shape than 21 and doing much better than most countries in the world.

Campaign promises were enough to get me on board. The additional taxes on tax brackets that make 250K or more sold me. I am a single issue voter in that I really want to redistribute wealth from the top to the bottom and I want to reduce the deficit. You can call me a dumbass if you want, many people have done that over the years, but these are my biggest issues.
Wait wait wait.

Kamala put hundreds of black men in prison for minor marijuana violations. The inflation reduction act and infrastructure bills were nothing but big spending boondoggles which sent taxpayer money to corporate special interests. Are you IGNORANT?

Campaign PROMISES?

Kamala was in office for four years. Why didn't she just DO the promises instead of making them? You don't find that disingenuous? (In fact, many Americans cited this reason for not trusting her. Interesting that you still do)

And yes Keynesian economics doesn't work. You're uneducated and misinformed. Redistribution hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried, which is almost everywhere including here. A rising tide lifts all boats. Why not preach prosperity for everyone instead of class warfare, envy, and misery-sharing?

Democrats are the biggest spenders in history. If you really wanted to reduce the deficit you should have been all over Trump and DOGE.

See what I'm saying? You keep getting caught in your own lies.

Yes, been told that Trump took no salary and lost millions, but I've never seen any proof of this. If he could clear up the murkiness of his finances, that would alleviate a major dig I have of him. Just like I mentioned before, I believe most of his children have earned millions after his stint with speeches and book deals. I have no problem with that.
See the mask slip? You believe everything bad you're told about Trump, and you are skeptical of any exculpatory information. That's moving the goalposts and you reveal that you really are closed minded. Very dangerous for someone in their "30s" to be unwilling to accept any new information that doesn't fit a leftist worldview. You're in for a rude awakening. And you have demonstrated you are not interested in a good faith discussion.

And you just keep confirming that you're a troll playing games.

I did vote for Harris.

I’ll bite on the Trump bit. I don’t like him for a few reasons. The unfair reason is that he’s extremely wealthy and I have a natural distrust for everyone that fits that category.

I think the valid reasons I have for not liking him is that he has refused to give up his business holdings while in office. Being in public office should be one of the more greater sacrifices one makes and I don’t think anyone should be able to enrich themselves whilst representing the common man.
Ok… what about Nancy Pelosi and her ilk who have greatly enriched themselves while in office. “10% for the Big Guy” ring a bell? Trump is no paragon of moral virtue, but he’s hardly exceptional in that regard.

Your myopic hypocrisy is astounding.

There you go again. "Hey Americans, pay no attention to your grocery and gas bills! The stats that we manipulate say everything's fine, you idiot rubes!"

You're as condescending as Sunny Hostin.

You don't get it. He doesn't believe anything bad that he's told about Biden. But he needs PROOF that Trump lost money and donated his salary.

And if you provide him PROOF he'll just fail to respond.

Clearly a recycled sock account. Shows up in the past week….. spams the hell out of this board pretending to be an “independent” “moderate” but before long the true colors show.

Was she the perfect candidate? Absolutely not, but like I said I liked her agenda over Trump. Both lacked context, though.

Richard Nixon famously said that he was Keynesian, and oh by the way, 60’s and 70’s were the closest we’ve seen the wealth divide. That divide began to grow under Reagan and every president we have had since has been a neolib, Obama, Trump, and Biden included.

My switch the the Democratic Party coincided with the departure of fiscal responsibility on the Republican side. Bush and Trump did just as much to raise the deficit as the other bums.

I’m wary of the two mentioned before but I hope DOGE works. I just know Elon has a lot of money tied up in government projects and can totally see this as a way to further benefit his empire.

Craft Brews???? Hell... Home Brew..... and a lot of it... I've been on drunks but I've NEVER EVER EVER stooped or even thought to stoop to that level of drunk... That hurt my heart seeing it... 🤑 🚽 🪠🪠🪠🪠🪠

Ya'll pray for 55... 😅

Everybody has deviled eggs on Thanksgiving, how many will pick up a nice, deviled egg and think about that picture....LOL

Have I not said I am given his admin the benefit of the doubt? I’ve not complained about any cabinet choices, policy promises, etc.

I’m also on the record about my judgement of success for his admin, especially the early parts, on his plans for cutting the deficit, and prices. If he’s successful doing that, I’ll sing his praises and totally overlook some of the other things I might not agree with.

I get the distrust, but ultimately I’m just here to learn from other opinions. I’ve already learned from mistakes made in regards to you and non felon bill cosby.

I asked before and this isn’t a gotcha sort of question, but what do you anticipate in the first 6 months? Someone posted earlier that a million illegal immigrants have been sentenced to deportation without being sent. Do you think that is accomplished early on? What other goals do you have in mind?

So it’s well documented now that IRS employees & contractors owed more than $50 million in overdue taxes. God bless Senator Ernst from Iowa for shedding light on this disgrace.

But did you know that as of November 8th, 860 IRS employees still haven’t settled their debt and that 70 of those employees “willfully evaded paying their federal taxes”. Only 20 of those 70 were fired…50 of them are still on the taxpayers payroll. I’m guessing that means the other 790 are making an attempt to pay and/or are already on some sort of a payment plan.

Some questions:

1) Why weren’t all 70 of those “willfully evading” IRS employees not charged with a felony?

IRC 7201 Evasion

  • “Any person who willfully attempts in any manner to evade or defeat any tax imposed by this title or the payment thereof shall, in addition to other penalties provided by law, be guilty of a felony and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than $100,000 ($500,000 in the case of a corporation), or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution.”

2) At the very least why weren’t ALL 70 of them fired on the spot? Why were only 20 of the 70 “willfully evading” IRS employees fired? What about the other 50?

3) Didn’t the Biden Administration train IRS employees on the use of guns & in some cases arm some of them in the “field”? Were any of the 70 “willfully evading” IRS employees trained & armed by the Biden Administration? Did the Biden Administration knowingly or haphazardly arm potential felons?

4) Is Hunter Biden an IRS agent?

If/when DOGE (hopefully) accomplishs it's goals. And hundreds of thousands...millions of Federal workers are out of a job. How many of them will blame Pelosi, Jack Smith, Obama, Biden, Dem/Libs, Bragg, Comey, FBI, DOJ, etc for their loss of a job? Or will they all, or a majority, blame Trump? Without the 'deep state' going after Trump from the 'git go' when he came down the escalator....would he go after the 'deep state'.....federal bureaucrats....federal agencies as hard as it appears he will?

Poke the Bear

We've got the IRS dead to rights cheating on taxes and covering it up.
We've got FEMA dead to rights ignoring Trump supporters and covering it up.
We've got the FBI and DOJ using illegal lawfare.

If Trump doesn't at the very least disband all that nonsense he's a failure.

This is lengthy but deserves your attention. It attempts to give an academic explanation about the obvious things that we know and see about DEI but could not quantify. Suffice to say, DEI is poison and should be eradicated like a weed.

Do you mean my company forcing 100K workers to spend 20+ hours hearing about how racist we are wasn't good for morale?

The only thing Kamala did well was put loser potheads in jail and conservatives knock her for it? I don't get it.
