We threw off the shackles of our oppressors from an ocean away, during a time when their empire was in decline and they were relinquishing overseas holdings. Does Australia have the same geographical and historical circumstances as Botswana? The differences in circumstance we were born to don't make our lives worth different amounts. You are not worth more because you were lucky enough to be born an American than someone who had the misfortune of being born in North Korea.

I saw this Jaguar tweet in my X feed last night, and in one of the replies, a guy said he was supposed to take delivery of a new Jag in the next few days, and was seriously considering cancelling his order over this ad campaign.
This will indeed be a fascinating case study. I'm at least 2-3 years away from needing to purchase a new vehicle. I've generally liked Jaguar cars but never really had the conviction to go out and buy one. I sure as hell won't be buying one now.

I remember reading an article about 3-4 years ago that his goal was to be Gov of Florida. Maybe he's angling now to run in a couple of years when DeSantis steps down. I guess his Dad has been in the Florida House/Senate for years and is now (I think) Pres of the Florida Senate.
