He was fine till he started turning senile about 2 years in. He became unpopular among Democrats when he changed from a "transitional" President into wanting to run a second term. Lots coming out now that many Dems privately started pleading with him and his inner circle to step aside about 2 years ago but he refused. He didn't back down until the debate debacle.
Don't count your chickens on Trump's mental state two years from now. Time will tell. He is the oldest elected President in history.
No, he became unpopular when the machine decided he looked retarded on tv in the debate. Yall all bought the company line that he was "sharp as a tack" and tried to accuse people who didn't play pretend with you of being haters.

I don’t really give a shit about justifying it. My top priorities are (1) not having Washington take my money and (2) having Elon, Vivek, et al dismantle the federal bureaucracy in such a way that it takes generations to rebuild the grift and corruption, if ever.

(2) will give you some great headlines about unemployment rates and stock prices of your favorite big pharma, defense and media companies.

If there’s any short term pain, it will be well worth the long term benefits to the country as a whole.
Increasing unemployment is exactly what the Fed wants to reduce inflation (a terrible policy... but hey, give the Dems what they want).

The rhetoric is over, the campaign is over and Donald Trump is the President of The United States of America. His first personnel choices show he is willing to reach across the aisle and also work with the progressive wing of the GOP. He has blown the accusation that he is mysogynist pig out of the water. He surrounds himself with powerful women. He has picked Susie Wiles for his Chief of Staff and Caroline Leavitt as Press Secretary. Two very respected powerful women.

Who is Susie Wiles? She is a brilliant lobbyist and political operative. She pretty much ran Trump's campaign and is one of the few people Trump listens to. The other is Melania, also a powerful woman who is strong pro-choice. Wiles is a seasoned lobbyist for Big Pharma and political consultant. She is the daughter of sports broadcaster, Pat Summeral and has been in politics since 1979. She lobbies for Big Pharma and was a promoter of Trumps Covid vaccine. She is responsible for millions of donation dollars into the Trump campaign. She has strong ties to the Bush family and Jeb Bush is very supportive of her appointment. Susie Wiles has been a very successful lobbyist for China and Russia and will be a big asset in dealing with those countries. But her most important accomplishment is with the pharmaceutical companies and vaccines.

The GOP has been drifting away from conservatives for a few years now and Susie Wiles is the perfect choice to move the MAGA movement forward as it separates from the conservative wing of the party. Susie Wiles is happy to remain out of the spotlight and let others take the credit. She is the perfect choice for a Trump administration.

Jeb Bush approves and Donald Trump is showing he is willing to let by gones be by gones and bury the hatchet.

Interesting that they are "drifting way from conservatives" & despise rinos. Seems like a narrow window between those two.

You'd have to repeat this for a decade to even begin to break through the wall their gaslit brains built up to any truths.

Nope and it makes me sick. I still want to know if Trump and his kids got the jab, and if he is going to hold pharma accountable, but I just received my answer with this chief of staff hiring. Just like his last term a disappointment in some ways, but at least I have no illusions going forward.
"Former President Donald Trump revealed he received a booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, drawing boos from a crowd in Dallas.

Or this might sound crazy but our side believes in the peaceful transfer of power. And while we might not like Trump, we’ll have him the keys again and hope he doesn’t crash the car. Biden will hand him the strong economy he built with inflation coming down better than how any other country dealt with it. Well just hope Trump doesn’t mess it up with his high tariffs he’s planning. Don’t worry we’re not going to threaten to hang Kamala for not overturning the election and we’re not going to storm the capitol and smear shit all over the walls either. I know you think that’s normal but it’s not.
No they dont...last time they created a completely fabricated and debunked dossier and got the press to run with it to undermine a presidency right out of the gate.

If you hate Trump, never forget that Obama pushed to make him to face of the party then Hillary wanted the press to boost him bc they thought it would mean easier wins for them

Who said he won't fulfill many campaign promises? No president has fullfilled everything that want to do...last time it was bc democrats went insane with the filibuster.

But let's cut to what this really is, it's the only hope for you to nitpick on singular things so you think you can feel a win, feel better about yourself, and pretend you're morally superior.

Except it's not about winning. I want Donald Trump to end the War in Ukraine. Hell, I hope he legitimately eliminates inefficiencies in government. I even hope he acts like a real populist.

But what has the probability of happening is more of the same...and reversion back to mean tweets and "trolling the libs" from his supporters rather than actually making positive change for America.

You're already making excuses and pointing at Joe ****ing Biden, who had some of the worst approval ratings in US history..

Idgaf what is good for Republicans or Democrats...that's the difference. It not a ****ing sports game. I don't give a shit about your team.

The Trump Peace Dividend. Why anyone supports Democrats...they should have their heads examined. Peace comes from STRENGTH and not Beta Males and Feminist limp-wristed SoyBoy Dipshitplomacy.

BS. Jan 6th wasn't a hoax. It happened. The majority of Americans didn't believe it was enough of a reason to vote Kamala.... but it wasn't a hoax.
Some of y'all are reading waaaay too much into this election.
Kamala was a weak candidate and chained to an unpopular President. The border and economy drove the results.
Over half of my friends/family are Republicans. Some are even elected officials.
They think Trump is an offensive idiot that embarrassed the country on Jan 6th.
But they also think Kamala was an even worse choice for the border, economy and foreign policy dangers in the world.
Most Republicans don't buy all the conspiracy BS and lies. That is still reserved for the extremists who will drive the swing voters back to the Dems if they swing the country too far right.
January 6th - HOAX
Just like Biden getting 81 million votes. Even a blind man can see this.

Goofy ass question. A genetic male is incapable of becoming pregnant because they have no uterus.
Is it a possibility in the future via artificial scientific intervention, uterus transplants, hormones and surgery?? That remains to be seen.

Some dude had a baby decades ago. I think it was with some midget and the guy eventually got into politics for the right shockingly.

I don't think they have enough time to start the process of replacing a SC justice. I'm not sure what it takes but I'm sure either side can employ some delay tactics from even starting the process.

Its impossible not to enjoy this...

HA,

It was a quiet take down for my next door neighbor. Done in the dark of night, last night..... Darn, it seriously hurt me as I thought I had some real good religious neighbors. We could have never been real close just due to how close we live but it sure was a good feeling that nearly totally evaporated now.. Just darn...

I have a home in 2 different KY counties and spend time at each. Both went 80% for Trump. I don't know what it is like to be around the hard left constantly.

They are high prices because of gouging.
No they aren't. Tell me you don't understand economics without fkat out admitting it.

Grocery stores have margins of like 1%. It's because the cost of gas, supplies, shipping, everything.

You can believe the democrats communist price fixing but price gouging is a lie. Not to mention your logic makes no sense...wouldn't they do all this during a R president since they're supposedly big business and for corporations, etc?

There are few solutions that are perfect. Everything is a trade off. You support the party that thinks a group of experts has all the answers. Experts that are mainly experts on college campuses but have little to no experience in the real world. The real world is much more complicated. What separates liberals and conservatives is the belief by the former that everything has a near perfect solution. And anything that isn't perfect is the fault of white males.

Election nuggets that warranted a nice pour of Weller 12...

~The win....knowing that we will at least now have a chance at some sense of normalcy. Certain obstacles will be tough given the liberal stench has rotted the fabric, but we'll give it all we got.

~Liberal tears...this would be #1 were our country not in piss poor shape. Given they are still refusing to acknowledge their shortcomings in how their policies affected this country is mind boggling. It has been a pleasure watching them squirm, cry, moan, and yell.

~Obama's.....their mystique is gone. Finished. Take your riches and GTFO because no one is buying your BS any longer.

~Our country.....we now will get back our pride and raise the flag with honor knowing it better be respected or you will get your ass kicked instead of liberals offering you an apology for hurting your feelings.

If "WE" have ANY House representation at all that ARE Republicans that nomination will NEVER get through the process, no matter WHO it is. Wouldn't doubt that they try putting Garland in (Again?)... Just would be HORRIBLE. Any Republican House member that would let that happen need to be impeached or removed immediately. (No matter how many it would be...)

What?

Liberalism and conservativism are not the same as realism and idealism. There are idealists in every political group. What are we even talking about?

I don't understand this mentality. I feel like many people vote based on a culture of personality and team-based groupthink than actual results. And honestly, I think this is the core problem with American politics today.

It's also why Im independent. I have zero loyalty to suits, bureaucrats or special interests and I have no reason to bend principle for some well-curated ideological marketing scheme divvied up by two parties over generations.
