I'm not sure the left has the gumption to actually do anything when it comes to an election result. Too many single cat ladies, not enough testosterone. Their rioting was more of the passive aggressive kind and lord help any man that was married to one.
We will see when he's sworn in, and we will see what happens when that first drug-dealer-shot-by-cop-while-resisting-arrest happens in a few months. They're more like to riot for something like that, and instead just cry when they lose an election.

Also, there were many businesses and private properties destroyed after the Trump victory in 2016. Why are you only upset when someone breaks a window at the Capitol? Not that you shouldn't be for that, but you should also be upset with the previous situation.

But I always think it strange that a state would have a Repub Senator and a Dem/lib Senator. Or a state that went hard right (or blue) would then vote in a Senator of the other party.
Or with House (and I realize a lot of the seats are in heavily populated urban areas) that with most consider a 'red wave'/'landslide' that the House would even be close.

Don't read too much into defeating Kamala Harris. I am a Dem and almost didn't vote over my choices. It doesn't mean the country wants to go crazy right. They elected Trump because they think he will do something to bring down inflation and fix the border. That is why.... Not because they want him to target trans people. Go down that crazy path and you will see a Dem in charge in 4 years.

Look at Arizona this year. A huge win for Trump and a huge loss for Kari Lake. I think we can all agree that Kari Lake was a horrible candidate and her conspiracy theory craziness cost her big time in that state. She just was not very smart and Arizona saw through her.
Kari Lake voted for Obama and probably Hillary too and then when Trump became President she tried to grab his coat tails. Arizona said NO. I hope the Arizona GOP has learned a lesson from this. Don't run flaky candidates. It is important.

If he does his proposed 60%+ tariffs, how is that going to help the average person that’s already hurting and shops mostly at Walmart, Amazon and places like Temu? I used to have an office in J'ville so I would fly in/out on a regular basis. Many times I saw Pat in the airport...in the bar/lounge. Before he got sober. Talked with him briefly once in that the guy who met me at the airport knew him. I believe at that time he lived, or had a place, out on Amelia Island....but not sure.
